RE: Traveling Without an Itinerary: Looking Back in Time

What a fantastic adventure. There were a lot of cultural changes and cold war stuff happening in that period. I imagine that just like in Canada and the USA, a lot has changed culturally in Europe since then. It's great to see some of the places I visited in Spain. My Spanish/Portugal trip was unplanned, and it was wonderful to explore it, but my India trip was planned down to the second, and I was absolutely glad that I did because India is on another level for those of us not accustomed to the intensity 🗺 🛫

Have you ever shared pictures of your trip through Spain? I'd love to see them. I'd love to hear specifically about your impressions of places I've seen. When I look at the ones in this post I realize the children or old now, and most of the middle-aged people are dead. Makes me catch my breath.

Yes, in India I would plan my trip. A fascinating, amazing place with a culture that is not like the one I know at all. Best to plan so as to avoid some grave misunderstandings.

I thought I had shared Ronda in my last post, but I realized I edited that part out because it got too long. I have a few more images that I'll post this week, and next week, and the one after 😆

My companion and I would've been in heaps of trouble if we had gone with the initial plan of "just wing it". Thankfully, I can be hyper-Type A personality when focused and nervous. 🤖😄
