Hi there @psyberkid. It's great to see people from more countries around the world posting their travel content so we can all travel to more places without leaving home.
You've probably seen our Pinmapple #TravelDigest which we publish everyday, and if you haven't I'd highly recommended you take a look. That will give you some idea of the type of content we curate and what you can aim for. As a Pinmapple curator, here are some unsolicited tips that you may find useful.
One of the most important things is to share your personal travel experience with your readers, what a place means to you, what's good and bad about it, what did you like or not like about it, how was your experience when you visited, why readers should visit, or not, based on your post. Generic background information is helpful but can be found easily on the internet, so don't spend too much time on it.
Pinmapple is a travel community, so we want to hear from you in your own words, rather than let the photos do the talking Photos should be supplementary and not the focus of your post, otherwise that becomes a photography and not a travel post. However, your photos should still be of good quality. Grainy photos of a plate of boiled rice do not add any value to a travel post. Adding multiple similar photos of the same view dominates your travel post and can be boring when readers or curators keep on scrolling through the same view.
