This wonderful hybrid resort or adventure park as I call it is located at the highest peak of Cagayan De Oro, the city where I live for more than 20 years, it gives you not only a breathtaking view of the City but a one-stop destination in the Skye! Amaya View completes the city’s water to air tourist experience.
Amaya View is one of the favorite destinations of Cagayan de Oro locals and visitors from nearby cities, it is located at the highest peak of Cagayan de Oro specifically in the Municipality of Indahag, Cagayan de Oro City. Indahag is the boundary between Cagayan de Oro and Bukidnon, another province in Northern Mindanao.
Guests here are treated to a full view of the city while having the pleasure and convenience of leisure spots, recreational activities, and great restaurants, kids and adults will surely enjoy every activity this place could offer to their visitors.
The photo above is me and my wife and my whole family is shown below, this was taken in 2018 when this place was not yet full-blown. Larry's grill was already there but the infinity pool, Noah's ark, and others are not yet built. But still, we enjoyed the time together as a whole family.
Yes, we really had a wonderful time in such a wonderful place but I'm sure being there once again would be a brand new experience one would really look into. Now I wish the whole family could go there again soon.
The photo below is the main entrance as you can see in the picture the entrance fee is 100 pesos for adults and 50 pesos for kids, this is only about 2$ and 1$ respectively. I think this time wherein we are encountering a pandemic, senior citizens and little kids are not yet allowed to enter.
AMAYA VIEW AMENITIES:
Noah's Ark
This amenity has become the ever sought place to visit in the area, it is a replica of the biblical vessel built by Noah in ancient times for the purpose of saving the lives of animals and his family. This was during the time wherein God perished mankind with flood and only those who were able to enter the vessel were saved including those animals (displayed inside and outside the Ark) where guests of Amaya will be able to see.
Honestly, I was not able to visit this area since it was not yet built when we had the chance to visit Amaya/Hugo sometime in 2018. But this time it is already fully operational ready to give amusement to every guest they would have.
Noah's Ark tour will only cost you 1%, a very affordable ticket to the world full of imagination, haha I don't really have any idea what else one could see inside perhaps I will share it here when I get the chance to visit Amaya again.

Larry's Hill
The next exciting destination inside the Amaya View is Larry's Hill, they built this one ahead of the others that is why when we went there we had the chance to enjoy their ball pit low and high ropes etc.
This is Amaya View’s playground in the Skye that includes a number of activities for all. This includes the following:
- High Ropes
- Low Ropes
- Ball Pit
- Zip Line
- Basic Rappelling
- Wall Climbing
- Leap Jump Maze Tower
- Bungee Fun
- All-Terrain Vehicle
- and last but not the least Paragliding
With those activities, one can do at Larry's Hill I'm sure you will need at least a day to be able to try all and make the most out of your stay imagine jumping from a man-made helicopter and the thrill of climbing up a high rope course. While kids, as well as adults, will surely enjoy the largest and the only outdoor ball pit in the Philippines.
What else one could do here? Larry’s Hill also offers team-building activities and an outdoor camping experience.

PARAGLIDING
Paragliding is a weather-dependent activity within the Amaya view, that is why they don't encourage or guarantee early booking, so anyone can have the chance to fly.
Paragliding is dubbed as first ever in Cagayan de Oro that gives all a chance to fly! I personally saw how this works I mean how it flies I know it is such a great experience although not all will have the chance, aside from it's quite expensive not all people are also brave enough to take the challenge to fly.

Casitas de Amaya
The place offers the finest accommodation for everyone if you remember one famous movie "The Hobbit" where you can see cute, fancy, and attractive houses for your family and loved ones if you want to stay the whole night, this budget-friendly accommodation is made available for you.
This is one thing I would really want to try, overnight with the whole family with these amazing little houses.
Azul Infinity Pool
Amaya View’s pride is this amazing lifestyle infinity pool, designed for both adults and kids to enjoy, this swimming pool is perfectly set on the cliffside for a perfect view of the city. Indeed it is a perfect place to relax. Aside from that they also use saltwater in its pool to provide guests with a pH-balanced and healthier swimming experience, providing everyone hair and skin protection while swimming under the heat of the sun.
What does Azul mean?
It is the Spanish term for blue, it is considered the coolest and most calming of all color, this infinity blue-colored pool is not only capturing serenity and peace but it is also considered beneficial both to the mind and body.
The rate is quite expensive compared to other swimming pools around, 350 pesos for adults and 300 pesos for kids, this is about 7$. Although I know anyone wouldn't regret spending for such a great pool experience.
Amaya View is only about 20-minute drive from the city proper and maybe about 10 minutes drive from our home.
