Even if terribly crowded, this place still looks incredible! Amazingly rugged beauty, if seen from the air, land, or sea. Wow!

It is a shame, however, when destinations appealing to tourists with their natural beauty allow trash and development to mar that beauty. It's akin to adding chemicals to naturally delicious foods. Why would you allow it? You're risking your very survival...

Thanks for sharing this beautiful, if not somewhat sad, post. I think I will visit the national park and enjoy the quieter beauty there based on your experiences.

Wow, the colorful contrasts between the turquoise water and the green island are just perfect. It's sad to read that their reefs are so damaged although it is kind of self-explanatory with all the tourism going on.

I´m hopeful that at least some countries use the Covid inspired tourism break to rethink their environmental approach and find a new balance.
