No sé si fue la primera playa que conocí... Pero es la que Amo y mi favorita desde que tengo uso de razón... Les hablo de CHORONI...
De niña, mis padres solían llevarnos a mi hermana y a mi, junto a toda la familia a pasar largas vacaciones en esta playa.
Los recuerdos que conservo de ella, son hermosos y hoy quiero compartirlos con ustedes a través de mi cámara! ☺️

I don't know if it was the first beach I knew... But it's the one I love and my favorite for as long as I can remember... I'm talking about CHORONI...
When I was a child, my parents used to take my sister and me and the whole family to spend long vacations in this beach.
The memories I keep of it, are beautiful and today I want to share them with you through my camera! ☺️

Choroni... Fundada en el año 1622, está ubicada en el estado Aragua - Venezuela.
Para llegar hasta ella tenemos que atravesar una humeda, densa y verde montaña, conocida como el "PARQUE NACIONAL HENRY PITTIER" en la que el recorrido dura aproximadamente 1 hora a 1 y media...
Deseábamos llegar temprano para tener mucho rato por disfrutar y además ver el espectácular amanecer, así es que... Salimos de casa a las 5:30am.

Choroni... Founded in the year 1622, it is located in the state of Aragua - Venezuela.
To get there we have to cross a humid, dense and green mountain, "NATIONAL PARK HERNY PITTIER" in which the journey takes about 1 hour to 1 and a half...
We wanted to arrive early to have a lot of time to enjoy and also to see the spectacular sunrise, so.... We left home at 5:30am.
It was still dark!
El primer objetivo se logró!
Y es que deseaba ver los hermosos colores apenas salieran los primeros rayos de Sol.
The first goal was achieved!
And it is that I wanted to see the beautiful colors as soon as the first rays of the sun came out.
Llegamos a la ciudad de Maracay, capital del estado Aragua!
Allí encontramos el letrero que nos lleva al paraíso 🤩!
De Maracay a Choroni hay de 1 hora a 2 horas de camino... Dependiendo de la velocidad que desee llevar y las paradas a lo largo del camino.

Empezamos a subir la boscosa montaña que nos conduce a CHORONI, debemos atravesar el Parque Nacional "HENRY PITTIER"
Que cuenta con aproximadamente 107.800 hectáreas y albergando entre sus montañas variadas especies de aves y mamíferos... Gracias a Dios solo vimos aves y no a los mamíferos. 😁

La vía es... Bastante angosta, entre 3 y 4 metros de ancho!
A lo largo del camino hay una variedad increíble de plantas, flores y árboles inmensos.
Quería tomar fotos a todas las hermosas flores que veía en el trayecto... Pero estában en lugares poco accesibles!
The track is... Quite narrow, between 3 and 4 meters wide!
Along the path there is an incredible variety of plants, flowers and huge trees.
I wanted to take pictures of all the beautiful flowers that I saw along the way... But they were in inaccessible places!
Hay muchos ríos en en trayecto, en ciertos puntos se debe pasar con el carro a través de ellos.

Te encontrarás con paisajes que... Sencillamente son maravillosamente hermosos y dignos de admirar!

Luego de subir a la cima, finalmente empiezas a descender... Cada vez estamos más cerca de llegar y ver el Mar!
Empezamos a encontrar pequeños poblados en la vía y también sitios para comer!
After climbing to the top, you finally start to descend.... We are getting closer and closer to reach and see the sea!
We start to find small villages along the way and also places to eat!
LLEGAMOS A CHORONI! // WE ARRIVED AT CHORONI!
El pueblo de CHORONI es un espectáculo! Consta aproximadamente de unos 5 mil habitantes, está parroquia costeña vive del turismo, la pesca y la producción del cacao.
El mejor cacao del mundo se cultiva aquí en CHORONI y si no me cree, visitenos, pruébelo y compruébelo usted mismo! 😉
Además tiene una peculiar arquitectura colonial, lo cual hace aún más grato su recorrido!
En estas calles hay posadas, hoteles, restaurantes y más!
The village of CHORONI is a spectacle! Consisting of approximately 5 thousand inhabitants, this coastal parish lives from tourism, fishing and cocoa production.
The best cocoa in the world is grown here in CHORONI and if you don't believe me, visit us, taste it and see for yourself! 😉
It also has a peculiar colonial architecture, which makes your tour even more pleasant!
In these streets there are inns, hotels, restaurants and more!
Antes de ir a Playa Grande como normalmente se le conoce a la playa de Choroni, decidimos dar un paseo primero por el Malecón!
De día el Malecón muestra el Mar en su máximo esplendor!
Con hermosas gaviotas alzando su vuelo al cielo, es el punto de partida para los pescadores del lugar.
De noche este lugar se convierte en un disfrute total, los artesanos del lugar, sus habitantes y demás visitantes se reúnen y así disfrutan al ritmo de los Tambores de la agradable compañía y en ocasiones de la diversidad cultural, pues suele ser visitada por extranjeros.
Before going to Playa Grande as Choroni beach is normally known, we decided to take a walk first along the Malecon!
By day the Malecon shows the sea at its best!
With beautiful seagulls taking flight into the sky, it is the starting point for the local fishermen.
At night this place becomes a total enjoyment, the artisans of the place, its inhabitants and other visitors gather and thus enjoy the rhythm of the drums of the pleasant company and sometimes the cultural diversity, as it is often visited by foreigners.

Para describirles un poco más el lugar, el agua es Cristalina, su oleaje es perfecto, tiene una temperatura cálida...
Pero por hoy los dejaré descansar!
Aun queda mucho por decir y fotos por mostrar del lugar, pero en un próximo post se los intentaré enseñar!
