A river tour ....

Hello Hivers, how are you? You may already know how much I love river trips. Whenever I get a chance, I go to the river bank in search of peace. I find my peace in the murmur of the river between the two banks of the river.

Although I grew up in a completely urban center, I have a lot of attraction towards the Tao River, and the reason for this attraction is not unknown to me. My village home is Barisal, it is said that Barisal is the combination of river, canal and paddy. When I got a break, my father used to take my mother to Barisal and I used to go around the village. Maybe that's why I have a little more love for the river.

A little away from Dhaka, Mohanpur tourism center has been built in the vicinity of Launchghat in Chandpur district. Although it was underdeveloped when I visited.

You will see these kind of view while traveling by launch to Chandpur.

I went from Dhaka to Chandpur by adventure launch. Mohanpur tourist center is not far from Chandpur Launch Ghat, it takes about five minutes to walk.

There is a seating area much like Cox's Bazar, if you want you can sit there and enjoy the waves of the river. There is a restaurant named Ship Inn which is also rented as a picnic spot.

In general, if you are a river lover or you like river travel, then you can go to Chandpur with the pleasure of a launch trip from Dhaka and visit Mohanpur Tourism Center.
