Actually, I did this trip last week, this trip doesn't take too much time from where I live, this trip only takes about 1 hour by motorbike. From Medan to this tourist spot, the road conditions are very good and smooth asphalt, although we have to be careful because there is one point that is prone to landslides when going to the city of Berastagi, especially during the current rainy season.
The tourist spot that we visited actually hasn't entered the city of Berastagi, it's just in the same direction as the city of Berastagi, but Jumalau is still in the Sibolangit sub-district area. Jumalau is a small river that is shallow and not too deep. This river is not suitable for rafting or testing your guts. This river tour is more suitable for family tourism that is not dangerous. Because the river is not deep. For toddlers, we won't be afraid that they will drown, but we still have to be careful if we bring children at the age of 3 because what we are worried about is slippery rocks.
This river is on the edge of the forest so the air here is still very cool, tends to be cold because there are lots of trees and the wind from the mountains that blows here. There is no air pollution from factory vehicles, Jumalau is perfect for relaxing yourself from the various activities that exist after one week of our activities, of all the tourist objects in Berastagi, this Jumalau tourist attraction is a tourist attraction that has high calm. we can really relax in this place, maybe because there are not too many visitors at the newly opened tourist attraction or if I see that the visitors here are scattered in several photo spots that have lots of activities each, such as fishing, playing in the water and doing activities grilling and having fun karaokeing with the local community.
In fact, there are many small rivers in Sibolangit that are no less beautiful than the Jumalau River, right? But what distinguishes it is that the manager of this place deliberately beautifies this place with an exterior design that spoils visitors to add to their photo collection on their social media. We can see this photo spot from the existence of a bridge that was deliberately made with instagramable decorations, there are two bridges in this Jumalau tourist attraction, the first is a bridge decorated with flowers on the left and right so if you have a high photographer's soul the results are much better and one more bridge is decorated with small lights, I think if we take pictures here in the afternoon the results will be much more satisfying.
Then the manager also made several Gazebos to create moments so that the atmosphere on the creek is much more romantic, warm and family-friendly because the interior of this gazebo is also very unique with a classic, glamorous impression. The condition of the river in Jumalau is also very clean, supported by good nature, fresh air and shallow river depths. Many communities and their families come to this place and make Jumalau a new family favorite tourist attraction. Not only that, cheap entrance tickets also make it easy for visitors to come here because not all visitors who come to this place have good financial conditions.
