Hola a todos, cómo se encuentran? Hoy quiero mostrarles un poco de como fue mi experiencia visitando el Parque Metropolitano Simón Bolívar en la ciudad de Bogotá. Este parque es el más importante de la ciudad, ya que además de ser el más grande, también se ubica de forma estratégica en el centro de la ciudad, siendo considerado "el pulmón de la ciudad".
Hello everyone, how are you? Today I want to show you a little about my experience visiting the Simón Bolívar Metropolitan Park in the city of Bogotá. This park is the most important in the city, since in addition to being the largest, it is also strategically located in the center of the city, being considered "the lung of the city."

Este es el parque es muy grande, contando con un tamaño de más de 110 hectáreas, un lago central inmenso, verdes planicies y diferentes atracciones, tanto para distracción de los visitantes, como para realizar actividades físicas.

Al caminar, lo primero que vimos fue el monumento Simón Bolívar, personaje que le da su nombre a este complejo de parques.
As we walked, the first thing we saw was the Simón Bolívar monument, the character that gives this park complex its name.
Luego llegamos a un zona de juegos infantiles.
Then we come to a children's play area.
Después de caminar un poco, por fin llegamos al lago central. Realmente es gigantesco, pero al desconocer la magnitud de las dimensiones del parque, puedes caminar hasta 1 km y aún no llegar a visualizarlo.
After walking a bit, we finally reached the central lake. It really is gigantic, but since you don't know the magnitude of the park's dimensions, you can walk up to 1 km and still not get to see it.
Luego llegamos al templete, lugar donde realizaban misas todos los domingos, aunque ahora por la situación sanitaria desconozco si este en uso.
Then we arrived at the temple, where they held masses every Sunday, although now due to the health situation I do not know if it is in use.
Al llegar a una de las zonas de playa vimos diferentes animales que formaban parte del ecosistema del parque, como garzas y patos.
Upon reaching one of the beach areas, we saw different animals that were part of the park's ecosystem, such as herons and ducks.
Nuestro objetivo aquí realmente era poder practicar kayak en el lago, pero para nuestra mala suerte, no estaban en el lago este día.
Our goal here really was to be able to kayak on the lake, but unfortunately they weren't on the lake this day.
Luego solo seguimos recorriendo y conociendo más la inmensidad del parque, respirando aire fresco y haciendo algunas paradas para tomar más fotos, jajaja.
Then we just keep touring and getting to know more the vastness of the park, breathing fresh air and making some stops to take more photos, jajaja.
