Dear hive friends, here we are with the second part of the Ljubljana trip!
We left at the foot of the hill on which the castle dominates, just about to take the funicular.

Yes, I know, you can see the reflection on the crystal of the cabin, but I couldn't do better despite leaning my smartphone against the glass!
When we got to the top, at the exit of the funicular, in the "hall" of the castle is the symbol of Ljubljana: a dragon.
It's basically the same symbol found on Union beer, which originated in Slovenia.
From the "hall" we move on and climb a few more flights of stairs to arrive at what the inner courtyard of the castle:

Every building body present has been remodeled (even structurally) to have safe access to the public and to adapt it for the purpose of getting exhibits.
Obviously some of the structures are quite invasive and completely divorced from the historicity of the building, but with these solutions, local institutions can monetize every inch of the castle.
Here is an example of the rather important structural works that have been carried out in the "hall"
As you can see the steel structures are very invasive-an advantage for security at the expense of soricity.
As in all castles there are the dungeons the watchtower and the chapel; in the area reserved for service personnel, an exhibit has been created that traces the entire history of Ljubljana to the present day, and in another wing of the castle there is an exhibit for children's pastimes, especially dedicated to puppets.

The keep has a peculiarity, though it is not related to the construction period, but of the present day: the staircase to climb is double.
Let me explain: one ramp serves the ascent and one ramp serves the descent, this way, being narrow there are no snags.
The excursion is over, it is necessary to go back to catch the bus, otherwise we are on foot!
On the transfer from the castle to the bus station we came across a very peculiar place: Cafe Romeo...
From the photos you will quickly understand why!
