Summer time is here!!!!!
What's up hivers?I howdy people?I hope you are all doing good today.
Since it's summer here in the country and classes are ended so our eldest sister invited us for a summer escaped at the Canigao Island located at Matalom,Leyte Philippines.
My sister shouldered the gas expenses and cottage.
And for the food ,we pledge what we can afford.
And for the entrance fee and the boat fee we individually paid for it.
For the adult ,we need to pay 220 pesos as for the kids is 120 pesos or near $2.
I told them that we have to come at the port earlier so we can have more time to spend at the island.
And since they need to travel for an hour ,they started traveled at 5:30 in the morning and came to our place almost 7 in the morning and and we came at the Matalom port around 7 :30 in the morning then traveled for 15 minutes going to the island .
When we arrived at the island ,we fist have our breakfast and started swimming after.
While the kids are enjoyed swimming ,I and my siblings got time to stroll around while someone was watching them.
When we are satisfied with the photos we take ,we spent a time to swim with the kids.
Around 12 most of us got hungry so we take our lunch.
We had a grilled fish and fork ,spring roll ,raw fish(kilawin)pork humba ,fried chicken and shells we had also some sweet potato and cassava .Buko pandan for the dessert .
We came at the island almost 8 in the morning and we have to prepare our selves and our things at 2:30 in the afternoon as the boat will get us at 3 in the afternoon.
For me ,the time they give to us is not enough hahaha .
That's why we tried to enjoyed the island especially the crystal clear water and the white sand even though it's too hot .
It is such a great time to spend with the family.
I really enjoyed even if it's too hot .
Anyway ,it's my mother and some sibling's a first time here in Canigao Island and a fourth time to me.
Good thing that this time is not so crowded unlike those time I was here that a lot of people was there and even there's no vacant cottage for us that's why we only rent a table and chairs but a struggle for us when it rained that time hahahha.
And that's it for our summer escaped that brings so much joy and fun and of course an enjoyable moment with my family.

Such a beautiful island. My husband and I visited this island 5 years ago. I was amazed by the crystal clear water and the island itself, of course. As I saw your pictures, there were lots of new structures.😊
