Around 4 PM, while I was in Islamabad, I decided to visit this beautiful location. It was about a two-hour drive from where I was. I booked a cab and began my journey.
The road was filled with dangerous turns as we climbed higher. Each turn made my heartbeat fast. one small mistake could be dangerous.
The beautiful sunset 😍 was breathtaking, appearing so distant from our height. I captured these moments from the car, as we couldn’t stop the vehicle on the road.

After two hours, we arrived at Mall Road, Murree around 6 PM. The sky was dark, and the lights illuminated the road. I booked a room at Onion Rise Hotel and freshened up. I chose this room for its terrace view.
From the terrace, I could see all of Murree, with lights sparkling across the hills. Initially, I was scared of the height because I have a fear of heights. However, I soon realized that this moment would not come again, so I decided to enjoy it.
After getting ready, I put on a coat because it was quite cold at this altitude. I then stepped outside onto the main Mall Road, known for its beautiful shops.
This area has colonial history, as it was established by the British government during their rule over Hindustan. Mall Road was a representation of their influence, as they chose a posh area for its construction.
Historically, this road had two sides: one designated for unmarried bachelors and the other for married couples, according to British rules.
This building, known as the GPO post office, is one of the largest and most historic post offices in Pakistan. It has now been converted into a beautiful hotel, giving off truly aesthetic vibes. I love places like this!
After the partition of India and Pakistan, this location was designated as a tourist spot. Nowadays, people visit to enjoy the snowfall, but unfortunately, the weather was clear during my visit ☁️.
Honestly, it felt like I was in a European country rather than Pakistan—it had such British vibes.
There are more than 50 hotels along Mall Road, each boasting a unique ambiance. However, the main attraction is the GPO hotel, which offers a glimpse of New Murree.
Traffic and civil police are always present for any emergency, which adds a layer of safety to the area.
Not only was the GPO beautiful, but the banks and other small buildings were also stunning. If I had to describe the word 'aesthetic,' this place would be my perfect example.
While I was exploring, a photographer approached me. There were many photographers around, persuading people to take photos, and he was successful with me. He charged 40 rupees for a picture, and I ended up taking five photos of myself.
To be honest, he was really good at what he did. He changed his small lens into a big lens on my demand and I was really happy from it. He was standing very far from me but he captured my picture from so close I don't know why but it happened.
After visiting the GPO Chowk. I went to lower market of Mall road. Which was well known for its beautiful shops and beautiful decorations.
There all almost more than 20 shops located on Mall road which are known as $1 shop. And all the things present in the shops are only cost for $1. And this one's plus points for this road.
Case study things and materials presents in the shops interact directly to the hearts of tourist. Aptoide want to visit this shops and their purchase a lot of things. Is sambandh se I will not buy anything he is heart will forcing to boy at least one or two things.
I also buy gifts for my mother and my siblings. I purchase a keychain some jewellery box and jewellery and mini bag for my family.
The shop I visited was consist of to floors. The first floor was known as $1. Anti second for was known as 1.5 dollars. I visited many stores but this was my favourite because of its decoration pieces and aesthetic vibes.
After visiting shops somebody told me that there is also good tourist point on the end of Mall road. So I moved on to that place.
This place have a different vibe. The shadow of trees and the wooden bridge and monograms everything was perfect. There was written a big Allah in a beautiful style.
This clock was made by marble. And the architecture will be a good artist. Here was written an advertisement of an online store. I don't focus it and enjoy the nature.
Murree is much beautiful as artificial beauty. God only make hills but the human creats artificial beauty in a different style.
I don't want to go back home but what can I do I have to leave this place. I have to reach to my home before 7:00 a.m.
