Trip to the La Trilla River and Los Cocos Beach

in Pinmapplelast month

What was supposed to be a peaceful and uneventful trip to a river near the city, turned into something much better, but for an unwanted reason. Currently there are forest fires in the mountain that precisely supplies the destination river, so we had to change course to a more distant one. In another direction, but in the same state of Aragua, is the La Trilla river, but of course, we had to travel many more kilometers since it is not as close as we would like, in fact, a fuel refill was necessary to guarantee the round trip. the return

The La Trilla river is located on the Ocumare de la Costa road, this road is mountainous and therefore with many curves, but it is enough to drive carefully to travel it without problems. So after an hour we arrived at the Casamancho bridge, under it there is an ideal spa for bathing with the family, breathing fresh air and enjoying nature.

We arrived at the spa around 12 p.m., maybe a little late, but that was because we weren't planning on going that far. However, we decided to forget about the time and dedicate ourselves to bathing, exploring and enjoying the snacks I had bought for the occasion. It is worth mentioning that the water temperature was perfect, it was not as cold as it perhaps appears in the photos, that was also a factor that intensified the enjoyment.

Los Cocos Beach

But this hurried trip was nowhere near over, at around 2:30 p.m. We decided to ride for about 30 more minutes to reach the coast and thus take a beach swim. After all, we had already traveled most of the way. This is how we arrived at Los Cocos beach, one of the many beaches in Ocumare de la Costa, a municipality where natural attractions related to the sea abound.

Los Cocos beach offers a wide space, sands of a fairly light color and beautiful vegetation. The coconut palms live up to the name of the beach since we can see many of them. There is also a breakwater made of gigantic stones that creates a division to the next beach.

So a small trip turned into a much bigger one that included a beach when in reality we were looking for a river to cool off. This trip made us reflect on the limits that we sometimes set when it comes to traveling, it made us understand that, if we have the opportunity to ride a few more kilometers to get to a better place, we simply must do it.

That's great. Thank you!

What an excellent reflection, many times we limit ourselves to travel what we had planned and do not dare to go a little further. If you had not done so, you would have missed the opportunity to visit a beautiful beach ❤️

Both places are beautiful, nature is the best thing that exists and spending some time in connection with it is super refreshing, and even necessary haha

Beautiful pictures 🦉

Yes, sometimes we don't see the opportunities and we let them go just because we don't dare a little. And you are right, spending time with nature is the best. Thank you for your visit!

The river has a very lovely and serene view. The place looks very silent and peaceful. I’m glad you enjoyed staying there

We really enjoyed both places, we had a lot of fun breathing fresh air. Greetings!

It looks like you had a great day for an adventure. Going with the flow of the day is always enlightening and fun!

It's definitely true, doing things without much planning always turns out better, we have a lot of fun. Thanks for your support!

This place is special in summer and it feels very good to go and bathe here and it is very relaxing to see natural things. Can't do it, can only pray that nothing happens to the animals.

It is definitely a place to spend summer days, although the forest fires certainly cause damage to the fauna, I hope they have passed by now. Greetings!

Yeah you are right.
