Trip

The peak of Si Enang-Enang is a large coffee plantation area, located in Bener Meriah regency, Aceh province, Indonesia. 90c/o the people here work as coffee farmers. Coffee plantations in the host-host area are estimated to cover an area of more than 10,000 hectares. In this coffee plantation there are also other plants such as avocados, pumpkins, chilies, and durian. It's durian season, which means we can enjoy durian directly under the tree. Wow, it's so exciting, isn't it!?

Below is a collection of photos as we take home durian to enjoy. Below are some friends who are active as activists on the hive platform who took part in an adventure with me to the highlands of the Enang-Enang, among others;

Let's Start the Journey

IMG_20220228_101845.jpg

After agreeing carefully and weighing the needs of the holiday carefully, I and six friends agreed to travel this week to the coffee garden in the mountainous region of The Host.

We moved from lhokseumawe city to the mountains of The Enang-Enang located in the bener meriah district area. The distance from lhokseumawe city to the mountains of Si Host-host ranges from 110 kilometers. Of course, this is not a long and even tiring trip, because the journey we took was a trip that was not classified as far. Using a motorcycle we drove casually while enjoying the atmosphere of the trip. The most enjoyable thing about a trip is the journey itself. Where we can breathe the new air of the countryside, enjoy the scenery along the way. That should not be missed.

At 10:15 a.m., we arrived in the city of Bireun, which is 50 kilometers from lhokseumawe city, the city of origin. He was there we had to shop first all the needs we needed later at camp. The city of Bireun is a city entering the district of Bener Meriah which is the plantation area that we go to. After feeling enough, we enjoyed a coffee afternoon at one of the coffee shops in the city of Bireun, then we continued our journey.

On the way to Bener Meriah the terrain we went through began to feel climbing, even though the road here suda paved but we still had to be careful because of the slippery road. In the middle of the journey we were greeted by heavy rain that forced us to stop, of course this situation we had anticipated from the beginning, we took the coat out of the motorcycle seat and put it on and then broke through the cold rain.

The rain on the way does not make us recede, it further triggers our spirit as street lovers. Entering halfway to the summit, there was a fog descending enveloping the green mountains. The road was like above the clouds where fog filled all the way we passed. The more we came here the more we felt this was the right trip where we felt a different travel atmosphere away from the city we were in.

Wherever we travel that is a priority is the scenery. Why the scenery because the brain responds most to what is captured by the eye. In every journey of life we go through various problems of life, busyness, work alone, and many other problems that increasingly hurt the days we go through. Well, if we runut it's all food we need intake to refresing our mind.

So refreshing the mind and mind is to walk the road, sightseeing so that our bodies are back in shape. By walking towards a place, we will find a new scene that makes the brain brilliant again. Likewise, our eyes that stare at the new scenery are certainly nutrition for our spiritual who are getting tired of activities.

I began my journey to the mountains of the Hosts who in fact are cold peak areas. Along the foggy road we followed, photographing a variety of very beautiful natural situations. Of course, it was a good fortune for us to choose to go through the journey to the mountain.

Tourist Lodge

Then there are the small tourist cottages all with a simple look not too luxurious, but display coolness with the offer of a clean and beautiful courtyard. Along the way the cottages were set up to attract customers. There are also small buildings that look more like houses or huts that I also met along the way, whether it's a residence or temporary residence could even be part of a halfway house or tourist cottage.

Winding Road

The rain was still heavy as we continued to advance, climbing step by step up the host's hill. Me and some places still wear rainproof jackets where with these jackets we are not wet on the way. Like the mountain road is usually winding and winding, it's the mountain road that climbs. The corners here are very sharp, even if we call it very broken. So to get through that flow we have to further increase vigilance.

The corners I went through almost all were broken and at least we were caught off guard we fell into the abyss or were hit by a car that was moving opposite.

Making a tent

Tents don't always have to be beautiful and expensive, at least so understand what we embraced during the time we climbed to the top yesterday. Actually, if you want to be honest, we don't have to use a nice and beautiful tent as long as the wallet is still dry. And, with gusto we sell the tops with only a moral tent of plastic bags and plastic ropes.

We arrived at the destination, coffee plantations in the Area Si Inang-host Gayo land, precisely Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh. This coffee garden is estimated to be more than 10,000 hectares. We arrived at 4:30 wib, with a temperature of 7 °C, the situation was getting colder when the fog fell again covering the plantation area of the Enang-Enang.

Because the weather was getting colder we didn't wait long, we just moved to build an emergency camp. The camp we made is not a camp in general that is commonly sold in the markets, but this is a camp that we deliberately agreed to save expenses, it is a camp from plastic sold per meter in the market.

Deftly we worked together, tied ropes, erected a makeshift pole and then pulled the plastic tarpaulin, and then we formed a very simple roof.

By dusk the camp was completed. This is indeed very unique we are all very comfortable with the camp we make with sober materials. The tent was successfully set up. I feel very satisfied with the results we worked on in an instant. It can be seen from inside the tent room with a tarp that is very comfortable to lay down our tired bodies. Oh, it feels tired all over the body feels vanished with the shivering twilight air.

Cooking and food

Everywhere must be the most awaited hour, especially with the cuisine itself done together. It feels like it's the most fun thing among the many things done during a picnic. Various cooking activities we do not just pass, but we do it with joy. After magrib, we clean the fish that we have prepared. Milkfish we have bought in the city of Bireuen, here we do not need to bother anymore to find fish.

The most unique thing at the top of the host is that it turns out that fish below 7 °C are not easy to rot, fish that are in the open are like fish that we put in ice chests. Entering 80:00 wib, our stomach felt empty, it seemed that the stomach sign should be filled immediately.

We split the task, some went down looking for root wood, some cleaned the fish, some started the fire, chopped up kitchen tools and some even slept.

In the cold that night, but it didn't rain we managed to start the campfire, where we moved to start grilling the fish we brought. It only takes less than an hour, the fish is ripe in the fireplace. The white rice has been prepared. That means the meal time has arrived. Ayu we enjoy a lively dinner with grilled fish. Happy..

I cannot recall having any interaction with you at all, and yet you tag me in your post (obviously to get my attention and to gain a vote). I assume you have tagged the others for the same reason.

Tagging people in this way will not gain you vote-support and it's not a good way to build relationships. To build relationships you need to comment on other people's posts, engage with them in valid and meaningful ways.

Mr. @galenkp I'm sorry that I've been wrong, I just mean to respect all my seniors. Again, I apologize. 🙏

I'm not your senior, in fact don't even know who you are... I ask you kindly to don't tag me again.

@jotakrevs
I'm sorry for this mistake

It's nice to put faces to the user names and it looks like you had a wet trip.

As Galen has said, it's not generally best to tag curators, which is mostly what you've tagged other than your friends. It's off-putting and actually less likely to gain you curation. I'm guessing you may have also been hoping for someone to step in and vouch for you, but we have no idea what issues your facing, so we can't help. If the accusations are that you have multiple accounts, then this post will certainly help. Just be open and honest and respond to whatever questions are asked and try to give proof asked for.

This platform does tend to be run on western values and etiquette, so it is a good idea to become familiar with them and follow those standards if you can. The main thing is to be honest in your work and intentions.

I am so grateful to you for the attention you have given me. I really appreciate what you said, at least this can calm me down. May you always be healthy @minismallholding
