There's an old monastery that was partially carved out of the mountain. Dates back to the 4th century. In one room there is a stream that comes from the mountains and into the room through the wall. There's no piping or anything. You can drink from it and it's safe to do so.
On this same day I revisited that church and drank the water. So incredibly refreshing after all of that heat. Cold and natural mountain water!
Drinking such water in such a place is a true blessing. Few understand such simple truths.
