Bishu Mela reflects the centuries-old history of the village in its folk tales, dances and fairs. Some people in the mountains have somehow kept the disappearing culture alive. During the Bishu fair, the craft of bow and arrow is molded and made into a dance. It's a kind of war. This display of bow and arrow is seen to be associated with the Mahabharata period.

It is believed that this game originated during the Mahabharata period. It is seen as a war between Pandavas and Kauravas. Thoda is the main attraction of entertainment for the people in the village. If we talk about Thoda game then Thoda is a symbol of ancient culture.

After finishing the market work in the morning, after reaching home and having breakfast, I go to Jimmu village with some of my friends. We go on foot, we can even hear the sound of ancient musical instruments playing in Jimmu village. People from all the nearby villages come to this fair. As soon as we reach Jimmu, we enjoy the dance and a little game happening in the fair ground.

It is also raining, the players of Thoda are enjoying this fair in the rain. This fair lasts for two days. Today was the first day so there was not much crowd. Shops were also negligible. Since it is raining heavily, I come home early. I had a lot of fun at the fair.

Some glimpses of Bishu fair.
