Have you ever been in a place where dreams and free souls fly as if their success is at hand?
As a student, Baguio City, Philippines, became my gateway for my future. The place where I learned many things, explored, and found comfort after breaking out into my shell.
So what is Baguio for me?
Baguio City is the place that honed into someone that never gives up. To see the light in every challenge and to open my eyes even it is dark.
And when in session, my heart races in speed, and the brand new world welcomes me into a place I love dearly—a place where I can roam around and enjoy the diversity of cultures, customs, and beliefs.
Only every Sunday at the session.
People
The only thing I am sure of is that I am an ambient person. Both love the sight of the crowd at a time and also the sense of aloneness when the time comes.
Being in session, we'll get to see a lot of people. People we don't see every day. People who have different views from us, cultures, customs, and even their sense of style.
Seeing different faces someday gives me a breath of air. Not everything was taken away from us when pandemics came into our lives, changing our usual routines.
The people radiate the feelings f free people enjoying the world at its best.
Culture and Art
It's not always that we see Culture and Art every day in the streets. And the mere sight of them is like new learning to everyone.
The Cordilleran blood is rich with culture, and embedded in the designs of fabric they made were the traditions. The traditions contain the vast wireless of what have been when our ancestors are still alive.
Some of the patterns of the fabric, their designs, and even colors communicate to a, especially the young people.
These projects made us more closer to others, adapting to their complexity, sharing the same respect and love that they have for that particular project.
Countryside Feels
Sometimes we miss the feeling our home emits; that's why Sundays at session feel like home after months of boring myself in the city.
The sight of a domesticated animal screams provincial life. And as a teenager born, raised, and nurtured in the province, the glimpse of these cute pets brings me closer to the feeling of home.
Foods for the Tummy
Nothing beats the experience of everything in one place without the taste of foods available in a particular location.
In which, nothing beats the best friends food for Filipinos- Shanghai and Palabok.
In addition, the agar-agar, which is from my childhood snack at school, is a known drink lived by the tourists.

Talents
People of Baguio ranged from the complexity of cultures and brought them into life. The people's talents here as they showcase bring joy to everyone's heart as they use their instruments and textures to connect with other people.
In the future, when you come to Baguio. Be sure to save the day, and that is Sunday. It's not every day that we see things like this, and it's not every day that they come around to bring us an adventure in a level of understanding the differences of each culture.
See you, everyone, when you're in Baguio.
It's more fun in the Philippines.
