Lovely post little sister and this is one canyon that seems to keep on giving the more you walk past it! How cold is the water though, would it give a shock if it goes above the ankles?!
I walked along a few gorges and rivers in NZ and reached a few waterfalls, it's lovely to cool down after some hiking but you do get cold quickly if you stop! Think I'll attempt these hikes in the Summer rather than winter for sure!

It's a great experience for sure, especially during the summer when you are craving for some refreshment moments. As for the water, I'm a girl and it seemed like the great temperature! Never had problems with it even when I was getting in the area that was not warmed up by the sun anymore :)
