The Amazing amusement park of Gardaland part 1

One of the most beautiful places I visited about a month ago when the weather was still mild was Gardaland. Gardaland is located near Lake Garda and has its own history and its own merchandising based on the character of parsley, this green puppet adored by adults and children. Gardaland was born in the seventies as a small amusement park, but today it is the largest in Italy and was even mentioned by Forbes a few years ago. Today, in addition to the park, there is a themed hotel, a prestigious aquarium full of species exotic and a park dedicated to Lego, for reasons of time and money we only visited the main park.

A very varied park with many attractions including the simplest rooms and the very interesting and adventurous ones, with various thematic areas and obviously relaxation areas and areas dedicated to catering. We drove three and a half hours to get to Gardaland, leaving early in the morning and already when the park opened there was a huge queue of people, as soon as we entered (I was traveling with a friend and her son) we were amazed by one opening show with all the characters of Gardaland and obviously the parsley puppet and then we immediately entered Parsley Land, a magnificent area dominated from afar by the magnificent parsley tree with its pink tips. The first ride we tried obviously!

The parsley tree misled us because it looked like a simple carousel but once inside they made us take off our backpacks, sit down and hook ourselves into a sort of very pretty house that was a bit reminiscent of the settings of Alice in Wonderland and then bam! We started walking around finding ourselves literally upside down in the house, a real fright, luckily when we got down we continued our visit to the tree which was much quieter and with less scary paths and steps. The entrance route had other simpler rides which we did without too many problems such as mini trains and pinwheels also suitable for small children.

Immediately after having done the trains and a monorail ride around Gardaland we went to the cowboy and old west area, here there were not many rides but many restaurant and souvenir activities, with dishes that referred to the west (each thematic area had dishes and themed souvenirs) here, however, there were horses and mannequins to take souvenir photos with, overall it was an area that I liked, very well done, it made you feel like a real cowboy!

Furthermore, here we were under the highest roller coaster in the park, the Oblivion, and shortly after next to the other roller coasters, the Blue Tornado, the first 50 meters high, the second just under, both very fast and we looked at them in fear, immediately deciding not to try those. rides, we were a trio of cowards.

Then we continue the tour with a turn in the velopoano for children and then we enter the Jumanji labyrinth and the Jumangji carousel of which unfortunately I didn't take photos because we were tired from the very long queues, being a new carousel we queued for more than forty-five minutes and when we got to the point I didn't take my mobile phone, however it was a carousel that I expected better, the simple but nice labyrinth with a part of the route in the dark and various fun ideas, but the carousel wasn't very exciting, a car route with various scenes three d, it wasn't worth the wait in my opinion. For now I think I have already said too much, I will write the rest of our adventure in Gardaland in the next post, where I will talk about the other attractions we did and also those we didn't do but which struck us and I will tell us something more about this magical park!
