You know what? I just got back from Lake Sebu in South Cotabato and im still buzzing from it! Seriously that place is something else. Picture this you are smack dab in the middle of these huge green hills and then there is this massive quiet lake just sitting there. The waters so still its like a giant mirror reflecting the sky back at you.

We hopped on one of those little boats and just cruised around the lake super chill. Lily pads everywhere and the whole vibe was just so peaceful. But honestly the best part was meeting the Tboli people. They are the locals there and they are so friendly and welcoming. We watched them making their baedwork and weaving those amazing fabrics. It was really cool to see how they keep their tradition s going.

Oh, and the seven falls? We hiked through the trees to see each one, and they were all so different. We even zipped over one of them. A bit scary, i wont lie but totally worth it.

And the food? the food we ate tilapia fresh from the lake. They cooked it every way you can inagine grilled fried even made into kinilaw and of course i had to try the local coffee. Sipping that while the sun went down over the lake? Magic.

Seriously. Lake Sebu is one of those placesthat just sticks with you. Its not just pretty it is an experience. You get to be out in nature learn about a culture and just chill if you ever get the chance, you gotta go.
