Este recorrido lo iniciamos saliendo desde la ciudad de Barquisimeto, donde agarramos un Bus con destino a la ciudad de Acarigua y nos bajaríamos a medio camino de la vía, El sector donde nos quedamos se llama "Camoruco" un pequeño caserío de donde iniciáramos la larga caminata hasta llegar al pozo.
We started this tour leaving from the city of Barquisimeto, where we took a bus to the city of Acarigua and we would get off halfway down the road, the sector where we stayed is called "Camoruco " a small hamlet from where we started the long walk to get to the well.
La caminata es de unos 9 Kilómetros que van desde planicies con asentamientos agrícolas hasta comenzar a subir algunas colinas, una de las parte más bonitas en el recorrido es cuando llegas a lo alto de cada colina, tienes una vista de 360 grado de todo el paisaje, entre bosques y montañas; otro punto bastante fotogénico es un bosque de galería que te consigues en la última parte del recorrido y es quien nos indica que ya estamos llegando al pozo.
The hike is about 9 kilometers that go from plains with agricultural settlements to begin to climb some hills, one of the most beautiful part of the tour is when you get to the top of each hill, you have a 360 degree view of the entire landscape, between forests and mountains; another quite photogenic point is a gallery forest that you get in the last part of the tour and is who indicates us that we are already arriving at the well.
El boque de galería va rodeando los linderos del rio, y en el camino se van formando pequeños pozos y hermosas cascadas donde los visitantes aprovechan de irse bañando antes de llegar al pozo más grande (La Olla)
The gallery forest surrounds the river's borders, and along the way small wells and beautiful waterfalls are formed where visitors take the opportunity to bathe before reaching the largest well (La Olla).
En total del sendero duramos unas 3 horas de recorrido; una ruta que recomiendo realizar SOLO a los amantes de la naturales y a los que quieran desconectarse del ruido dela ciudad, si no te gusta caminar no lo vas a disfrutar. Luego de todo este trayecto, llegamos por fin al famoso pozo la olla, con un agua cristalina y una temperatura ideal para refrescarse de la ruta. Acá duramos largo rato disfrutando para luego emprender nuevamente la larga caminata que considero se me hizo más rápido porque íbamos de bajada.
In total the trail lasted about 3 hours; a route that I recommend ONLY to nature lovers and those who want to disconnect from the noise of the city, if you do not like walking you will not enjoy it. After all this journey, we finally arrived at the famous well La Olla, with crystal clear water and an ideal temperature to cool off from the road. Here we spent a long time enjoying it and then we started the long walk again, which I think was faster because we were going downhill
