Today I prepared a very special gift for my wife on the eve of her birthday, the first time we stayed in a Bungalow here in Portugal! I had to do an exhaustive search trying to find something good in relation quality-price and I ended up renting a Bungalow in the (Serra da Estrela National Park), a protected area full of wildlife and an incredible environment! I hope to motivate you with my video and my photos to launch you on a vacation here in my country!🌲🌷👨🦯🌺💥

Our lodging was at the hotel "ymca camp wire" is located in the national park "Serra da arrabida" in the district of Setubal, is known for its mountain range full of adventures, trails, beaches and good food! It is impossible to get bored in this area! IT IS NOT EASY TO ACCESS, you must stay with your own vehicle or rent a car here in the city since the nearest beach is 12km away, and there is no public transport that will leave you near the hotel! it has private parking normally you can spend a night here for 120-150 euros which is the price of the Bungalow together with breakfast!👨💻🌲🚵♂️🚣♀️
Nuestro hospedaje fue en el hotel "ymca camp alambre" esta ubicado en el parque nacional "Serra da arrabida" en el distrito de Setubal, es conocido por su sierra montañosa llena de aventuras, senderos, playas y buena comida! es imposible aburrirte en esta zona! NO ES DE FACIL ACCESO, debes hospedarte con vehiculo propio o alquilas un carro aqui en la ciudad ya que la playa mas proxima esta a 12km, y no hay transporte publico que te deje cerca del hotel! tiene estacionamiento privado normalmente puedes pasar una noche aqui por 120-150euros que es el precio del Bungalow junto con desayuno!🌺🌻🌏🏠
The park was built by the "ICNF" which is the institute for the conservation of the forest environment of the mountain range, it was built in "1998" and its main objective was to make people aware of the value and appreciation of the environment, and how best to do it?? creating Bungalows that allow you to spend a pleasant night in the middle of nature! inside there is a famous cafe restaurant that is visited daily by many cyclists who go up the mountain in search of adventure!🧭🌏🌄
El parque fue construido por el "ICNF" que es el instituto de conservacion del ambiente forestal de la sierra montañosa, fue construido en "1998" y su principal objetivo era sensibilizar a las personas a la valoracion y apreciacion del medio ambiente, y como mejor que hacerlo?? creando Bungalows que te permite pasar una agradable noche en medio de la naturaleza! dentro hay un famoso cafe restaurante que es visitado diariamente por muchos ciclistas que van a subir a la montaña en busca de aventuras!🌅⛲⛺
The Bungalows are individual or shared depending on the level of privacy and economy that you have or require! When I refer to being shared, it means that they are separated by a division and a corridor, so you have a lot of privacy and they are quite isolated, impossible to hear your neighbors! inside they are super technological and you can watch TV to enjoy WIFI, when you rent for one night you have access to a kitchen, fridge and even a microwave! each Bungalow has a name of a Portuguese aromatic plant! ours was called: (MALVA).🤑🥳🎈🎁
Los Bungalow son individuales o compartidos dependiendo el nivel de privacidad y economia que dispones o requieras! cuando me refiero a ser compartidos quiere decir que estan separados por una division y un pasillo por tanto tienes mucha privacidad y son bastantes aislados imposibles escuchar a tus vecinos! dentro son super tecnologicos y puedes desde ver TV hasta disfrutar de WIFI, cuando alquilas por una noche tienes acceso a una cocina, nevera y hasta microondas! cada Bungalow tiene un nombre de una planta aromatica Portuguesa! el nuestro se llamo: (MALVA).🚙🚩🏕
Inside the park you can mark activities days in advance! for example you can do "archery", "some trails to the mountains", "water sports", rent a bicycle for a day, among many other things! or do as I did, bring a wine some fruits and have a super romantic experience with my wife! we sat at night on a wooden bench to watch the stars! here the light pollution is very low and you see many interesting things! making your night unforgettable!🌏🚵♂️🌌🪐
Dentro del parque puedes marcar actividades con dias de antecedencia! por ejemplo puedes hacer "tiro al arco", "algunos senderos hacia la montaña", "deportes acuaticos", alquilar una bicicleta por un dia, entre muchas cosas mas! o hacer como hice yo, traer un vino algunas frutas y tener una super experiencia romantica con mi esposa! nos sentamos en la noche en un banco de madera para contemplar las estrellas! aqui la contaminacion lumica es muy baja y ves muchas cosas interesantes! haciendo de tu noche algo inolvidable!🌄⛺

Never in my life have I slept in such a quiet place! We only heard the noises of the animals outside, crickets, toads... Otherwise we felt that we were at peace with ourselves! that we had escaped from the noise and confusion of the city! I think that is the experience that a Bungalow can offer you... Being isolated from people, we woke up at 8:00 and went to admire the mountain landscape that was covered by mist!🙇♂️🙇♀️💆♂️💆♀️
Nunca en mi vida habia dormido en un lugar tan silencioso! solo escuchabamos los ruidos de los animales afuera: grillos, sapos... De resto sentiamos que estabamos en paz con nosotros mismos! que habiamos escapado del ruido y la confusion de la ciudad! creo que es la experiencia que puede ofrecerte un Bungalow... Estar aislados de las personas, nos despertamos a las 8:00 y fuimos a admirar el paisaje de la montaña que estaba tapado por neblina!🌕🌠

I think people are afraid to live experiences like this because they think they will be isolated from civilization and it's dangerous! and it is quite the opposite, when we enter we think... WUAO!!! It seems that we are in our house, if you do not have much money you can cook your own food since they have an equipped kitchen! therefore you also end up saving a little money! the rooms were super comfortable, the bathroom not to mention ... WHAT MORE COULD WE ASK FOR???🚙🌏🧭
Creo que las personas tienen miedo de vivir experiencias como estas porque piensan que estaran aislados de la civilizacion y es peligroso! y es todo lo contrario, cuando entramos pensamos... WUAO!!! parece que estamos en nuestra casa, si no tienes mucho dinero puedes cocinar tu misma comida ya que tienen una cocina equipada! por tanto tambien acabas por ahorrar un poco de dinero! las habitaciones era super comodas, el baño ni se diga... QUE MAS PODIAMOS PEDIR???😬🙈🙈
I brought my wife as a surprise, we made a 20 minute trip and I asked her to close her eyes hahaha she couldn't see where we were going so she had no idea that she was on her way to a Bangalow xD, when we got there her reaction was what she is In the photo I was surprised because I had never slept in a hotel in the middle of nature! and it was also her first time in a Bangalow😍😍
Traje a mi esposa de sorpresa, hicimos un viaje de 20 minutos y le pedi que cerrara los ojos hahaha no podia ver hacia donde nos dirigiamos por tanto no tenia idea que iba camino a un Bangalow xD, cuando llegamos alla su reaccion fue la que esta en la foto quedo sorprendida porque nunca habia dormido en un hotel en medio de la naturaleza! y tambien era su primera vez en un Bangalow😂💖💖💞

I can't make any negative criticism as everything went perfectly! breakfast was served at 9:00 and was very delicious and varied!🥠🥟

Looks cozy and homey! Kind of like a tiny cabin. Some of my local parks here in the US have something similar called a Yurt which is kind of glamping. Haven’t tried it yet since I mainly camp with a tent but maybe I should try it out sometime!
