We arranged to go to the beach with the grandparents and they took us to a place called Playa Caiman in Higuerote. A paradise.
Before getting to the beach we stopped to eat empanadas, for those who do not know what they are, it is a corn flour dough, which is kneaded, flattened, filled with cheese, meat or fish and fried. It is delicious.
Cuadramos para ir a la playa con los abuelos y nos llevaron a un lugar que se llama playa caimán en higuerote. Todo un paraíso.
Antes de llegar a la playa nos detuvimos a comer empanadas, para los que no saben que son, es una masa de harina de maíz, que se amasa, aplana, se rellena de queso, carne o pescado y se fríe. Es algo delicioso.
We arrived at the beach and set up a pool for the twins, they enjoyed the sun in it and also the beach.
Llegamos a a la playa y pusimos una piscina para las gemelas, disfrutaron del sol en ella y también de la playa.
We sunbathed, the day was in our favor. We ate coconut preserves, a traditional Venezuelan sweet. The girls bathed with the grandparents.
I had never been to that beach before, it looked like a hidden paradise. I am very happy to be Caribbean and the beaches we have.
Tomamos sol, el día nos favorecía. Comimos conservas de coco, un dulce tradicional de Venezuela. Las niñas se bañaron con los abuelos.
Nunca había ido a esa playa, parecía un paraíso escondido. Estoy muy feliz de ser caribeña y de las playas que tenemos.
