Namaste 🙏

I hope you all are doing great!!!

So I was in the middle of the holy river Ganga with my group of about 150 people who were travelling together for 10 long days. It was a very remarkable journey that is going to be the part of me for a really, really long time. I’ve been posting about this journey for quite a while now, and I thought it would be a great idea to remind all of you about The real reason and real motivation behind this journey.

Nishadraj Ghat (The Ghat of Fishermen)—

While we were on a boat, we came across this really unique Ghatt that is situated in the Varanasi called Nishad Raj Ghat. This Ghat is dedicated to the special cast called Nishads who are mostly fisherman.

If you guys have been following me and my blogs lately, you must be knowing that II am travelling with my grandparents and we are crossing and covering the major religious destination across India and heading towards Nepal.

Varanasi or Kashi is our second destination, and it’s our second day of the journey and there is a lot more to go that you will come to know about in the coming blogs.

IMG_9397.jpeg

Right now, we are almost about in the middle of our journey to Varanasi, where the explorer, all the major Ghats of the city with the boat. My last, few blogs are about the Ghats, which we been exploring lately, and this blog also shows you the pictures of the Ghats that we come across while we were on the boat.

Prahalad Ghat—

This is one of the oldest Ghat of Varanasi, and it is believed that believed that lord Narshingh killed the Hurankashapu Demon near this ghat who tried to kill the devote of Lord Vishnu called Prahlad. That’s why this car is named after Prahlad.

We saw some children taking bath near this holy Ghat, and they also was shaking their hand while they saw us. They were full of joy, and so we were. We were also waving our hands back at them.

Telianala Ghat—

Now, just after Prahlad Ghat, there was this Ghat called Telianala Ghat. This heart was particularly dedicated to a cast, which used to extract oil from the seeds. It is also one of the very old ghats of the city.

IMG_9403.jpeg

It is really amazing that how the particular caste system used to be in the past days and how each cast had their particular Ghat dedicated to them. I’m super stoked to see that these Ghats and their history are still preserved.

IMG_9404.jpeg

We were really having a great time being on the boat, and there were some guides present on the boats that were telling us about the history of the Ghats, and because of that only, I was able to capture it and share with you guys.

IMG_9405.jpeg

I tried to showcase you the real and raw images of the Ghats so that you could get a glimpse of how Varanasi really looks like. If you’re travelling to Varanasi, you should explore all the Ghats and try to grasp as much as you can, because this city is full of divine knowledge and being present here only will make your soul eternal.

IMG_9406.jpeg

There was indeed something very different and relaxing in the atmosphere while I was travelling here in the middle of the holy River Ganga in this ancient city of Varanasi, highly recommend you guys to visit here and feel it yourself.

IMG_9407.jpeg

We were not even close to the centre of the city yet, but still, I was feeling so much relaxed and peaceful, and some kind of spiritual part in me was awaken.

IMG_9408.jpeg

I was really curious to see the Mani Karnika Ghat, where there are always 5 to 7 corpse burning and about 5 to 7 in line to be burnt. I wondered how mystical and different that Ghat would look.

IMG_9411.jpeg

We kept on sailing in the river Ganga for a while. When I realise that we are already very far away from the initial point from where we started. I tried to capture a few photographs for you guys to see how broad and why this river was and how far we’ve come in such a short amount of time.

IMG_9412.jpeg

I’ll be posting about other Ghats in next blog. I think this is enough for today.

Thanks for passing by.

Peace ☮️

A very perfect exploration, you find a truly amazing view, very beautiful my friend ❤️

Your photographs are very well done. The buildings look cool, and this seems like a perfect day for a relaxing boat ride. On such a sunny day, I would be tempted to jump into the water to cool off. Thank you for sharing! :)
