Hope you all are doing great!!

So, I am back with another blog of the holy town of Ayodhya. In this blog, Iโ€™m going to cover the most important and influential destination of this city, Ram Mandir and the story, how we got to reach there.

IMG_9139.jpeg

If you have been following My Best blogs, you most certainly know that we went to our hotel room to take a little rest for a while before heading back to the town and explore the most important landmark of the city, The Ram Mandir.

IMG_9140.jpeg

Our lunch was arranged inside of the banquet hall of the property, where we were staying in. It was a very lavish lunch with about 10 to 15 dishes available for us in a buffet.

IMG_9141.jpeg

I had a really hefty amount of food for my lunch, and I was certainly ready for the adventures that were standing ahead of me throughout my day.

IMG_9142.jpeg

So we started walking towards our buses that was standing outside of the property to take us inside the city. As already mentioned in my last blogs that the buses and the big vehicles were not allowed inside of the city, so we had to board little electric rickshaw to reach the inner areas of the city.

IMG_9143.jpeg

Before boarding the electric rickshaw, I certainly took some pictures inside of the Bus of me and also the surrounding areas, just for you guys to have an idea about how I was feeling.

IMG_9147.jpeg

So after about 15 to 20 minutes of journey in the bus, it was time to get out of the bus and board the little electric shops. I was talking about earlier in this blog. At this point of time. It was our third time boarding the electric rickshaw in the same day to reach the inner areas of the city.

IMG_9148.jpeg

We got the rickshaw from near the Dharma gate that is the main entrance of the Ayodhya city as you can see in the photograph below.

IMG_9149.jpeg

I tried to capture all the surrounding areas that I found really significant while entering the main town of Ayodhya. Because of the construction and the widening of the road, most of the old buildings were destroyed and utilised in making the road wider, but some of them were still visible from the road which I have tried to capture in my photographs that you can see below.

IMG_9153.jpeg

IMG_9151.jpeg

These buildings were partially renovated as well to cope up with the current environment, and the harsh beating that they took from the time and weather.

IMG_9152.jpeg

Ayodhya is one of the oldest cities of India as it is mentioned in the most ancient texts of Hinduism. This was the hometown of Lord Rama and the most important temple of Lord Rama is situated here.

IMG_9154.jpeg

There was a long running dispute in the Supreme Court regarding the construction of Ram Mandir and Bawri Masjid in Ayodhya and it was about a couple years ago that the temple won the dispute and there was a construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

IMG_9155.jpeg

Although the temple is still under construction, but there has been the placement of the idea of Lord Ram inside of the temple. The process of doing that is called Pran Pratishtha. That has been done by the prime minister of India last year.

IMG_9156.jpeg

I got the privilege to see the temple while we reach the temple in about 15 minutes of journey in the electric rickshaw. The cameras were not allowed inside of the temple and we had to deposit our mobile phones to visit the temple from inside.

IMG_9157.jpeg

That is the reason I was not able to take any photographs of the inside of the temple, although I could take my phone silently inside of the temple and could have easily taken photographs, but respecting the dignity of the place this was something I didnโ€™t do.

IMG_9158.jpeg

IMG_9159.jpeg

So I only have captured the photographs up until the point where we had to deposit our mobile phones inside of a locker at a nominal charge. There is also a great service of wheelchair for people above sixty years of age.

IMG_9160.jpeg

As I was visiting here with my grandparents, both our the age of 60, I was able to get inside of the temple with them as they book the wheelchair for them. I got to enter the temple with priority entry and without any queue.

IMG_9161.jpeg

Although I wasnโ€™t able to capture the photographs inside of the temple, but let me tell you the visit inside the temple was magnificent. I felt really peaceful, and it was a kind of vibe that I will remember forever for my lifetime.

Thatโ€™s all for today.

Thanks for passing by.
