Next to these two rich houses in terms of ornamentation, as well as furnishings, stands a quite different cottage called the poorhouse. It is a single-room building with living quarters and outbuildings - a cowshed - under one roof. The cottage is distinguished by its thatched roof, threshing floor and lime-whitewashed walls. The only decorative elements are the floral motifs made on the outer walls of the building. The interior of the house perfectly illustrates in what poverty some families lived. Here you can see items used at the turn of the century by housewives and farmers, i.e. a washing tare, mangle, coal iron, water carrier, quern, shovel and baskets for baking bread, cattle yoke, grain snare, clothes chest, white cheese press or buttermilk churn for making butter. The building was built at the end of the 19th century and moved to the museum site in the 1980s.

Obok tych dwóch bogatych domów pod względem zdobniczym, jak i wyposażenia stoi całkiem odmienna chata zwana chatą biedniacką. Jest to budynek jednoizbowy, w którym pod jednym dachem znajdują się pomieszczenia mieszkalne i gospodarcze - obora. Chatę wyróżnia dach pokryty strzechą, klepisko i bielone wapnem ściany. Jedynym zdobniczym elementem są motywy kwiatowe wykonane na zewnętrznych ścianach budynku. Wnętrze domu doskonale obrazuje, w jakiej biedzie żyły niektóre rodziny. Można tutaj zobaczyć przedmioty używane na przełomie wieków przez gospodynie i gospodarzy tj.tara do prania, magiel, żelazko na węgiel, nosidło na wodę, żarna, łopata i koszyki do pieczenia chleba, jarzmo dla bydła, zasieki na zboże, skrzynię na ubrania, prasa do sera białego czy maśniczka do robienia masła. Budynek został wybudowany pod koniec XIX wieku, a przeniesiony na teren muzeum w latach 80 XX wieku.

Zalipie was discovered in 1905, but the tradition of painting dates back to the 19th century, when, with the disappearance of henge huts, people began to build stoves in houses, but without a chimney. The smoke, which did not have an outlet through the chimney outside the house, escaped through a hole in the ceiling which made the interiors of the houses smoky, dirty. The housewives decided to reflect white dots called packs on these dirty walls. They overcame this with a brush made of millet, which has all the lime. In this way, various patterns began to appear on the walls in the houses, which over the years took on floral shapes. Lime and soot were used to make the first floral motifs, and then clay mixed with charcoal thus obtaining a brown color. Then over the years the paintings evolved and more and more colors of different hues were added. The museum consists of several buildings described above. They are arranged on a U-shaped plot plan. The buildings are wooden I similar to the surrounding buildings. Different colored flowers are painted on the facades. The homestead is preserved in almost identical arrangement as it existed during the painter's lifetime.

Tym sposobem na ścianach w domach zaczęły pojawiać się różne wzory, które z biegiem lat nabierały roślinny kształtów. Do wykonywania pierwszych motywów kwiatowych wykorzystywano wapno i sadze, a następnie glinę mieszaną z węglem drzewnym uzyskiwano w ten sposób kolor brązowy. Następnie w ciągu lat malowidła ewoluowały i dodawano coraz więcej kolorów różnych odcieni. Muzeum składa się z kilku wyżej opisanych budynków. Rozmieszczone są one na planie działki w kształt litery U. Budynki są drewniane I podobne do okolicznych zabudowań. Na elewacjach namalowane są różnobarwne kwiaty. Zagroda jest zachowana niemal w identycznym ułożeniu jak istniała za życia malarki.

The locality is famous for its beautiful flower paintings, not only in the museum. Also locals paint their houses, outbuildings, wooden fences and other building elements with colorful masterpieces. I recommend everyone to see it in person, the colorful decorations are a real feast for the eye.
