Speechless. Definitely one of the most powerful and emotional posts I have seen here. I haven´t even been close to such an epic hike in my life so far but I think I can imagine how life changing experience something like this can be... You have my utmost respect. Amazing read.

Thank you for your comments. It is difficult to convey, the true emotion and feelings and how it changed me, but it did and I needed it.
Life is what we make of it but sometimes we take tangents. This was a trial, an event, that reordered my life and through the physical and emotional turmoil I found, not atonement as I had hoped, but a path forward. It was enough.
