Awesome shots! And you even made it to Ermida de Nossa Senhora da Paz, wow. When we were visiting Vila Franca, we wanted to walk up there from the town as it looked pretty close on the map but as soon as we left the town, we got chased by a pack of stray dogs :D :( They basically forced us back to the town so we never made it to the that lovely chapel :( We would make it if had a car like you, I know... But yeah, amazing shots here. Glad you had this beautiful sunny weather in Furnas, we also had this luck ;) Such a unique place...

Yes but I would have not walked up there as well, pretty steep and slippery. Wow thats crazy. We haven´t seen much street dogs here in Portugal in general but hundreds of cats.
I agree Furnas is absolutely beautiful, we´ve been there twice. Hope you made it to the hot springs...I will write a blog as well about it.
