Hello, Hivers! Happy Monday to all. I hope you have a productive week ahead. It's hard to believe, but we're already halfway through October! What better way to end a camping adventure than to embark on another one? As I mentioned in my previous blog post about that one weekend at Mt. Kapayas, it would be a missed opportunity if you didn't visit the nearby waterfall. Along the way, you'll come across a sign that points the direction to Tinubdan Falls.

Today we are going for a walk to the Piedra de Isidris, a rock that literally fell from the mountain where it is located, in the foothills of the Andes and remained there on a hillside, to become with the passage of time in what visitors have called one of the energy portals of Mendoza.

Nestled just beyond the boundaries of Amboseli National Park, Village Number 3 of the Maasai people welcomed me with open arms in 2021, leaving an indelible mark on my heart. Returning in 2022 and 2023, I witnessed the resilience of this community amidst the challenges of a global pandemic and the harsh reality of a devastating drought.
