After more than half a year in Mexico City, the time had finally come - I travelled by metro in Mexico's capital for the first time. My destination was the chaotic but very interesting city centre, of which I had seen way too little so far. I would like to share my impressions of this trip with you today in this post.

us humans are also part of this class mammalia and we surely did dominate not only in one niche but probably even in those which we are supposedly not part of. before the humans came to be though, the old world monkeys branched off also in the cenozoic era. deep in the valleys of yamanochi in nagano lies a unique park where you can visit your lineage cousins. welcome to jigokudani snow monkey park!

🥉 Devil's Cave - Teufelshöhle - Germany by @rebet
There is a reason why this cave is known as the Devil's Cave. When animals living around the cave disappeared, various myths began to be told by the local people and the cave acquired this name during that period. Centuries later, when it was fully discovered, the bones of many animals from deer to bears were found inside. The skeleton of one of these animals, the bear, has been reconstructed and is now presented to visitors as part of the cave tour.
