Marco de Canaveses is a picturesque town located in northern Portugal, approximately 50 kilometers east of Porto. The town is easily accessible via a well-maintained road network, making it convenient for visitors to reach the Chapel of São Lázaro quickly.
If you are traveling from Porto, you can take the A4 highway eastbound, which connects Porto to Amarante. The journey usually takes around +-50 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
The road leading to Marco de Canaveses is in good condition, ensuring a smooth and comfortable drive. As you make your way through the scenic countryside, you will be able to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the region.
