Namo Buddhaya!

Ever wondered about a place which could be considered as the most peaceful one..? A place where you would feel fully energetic and positive..?

IMG_4816.jpg

For me it's The Nyingmapa Buddhist Monastery which is at Pangan Himachal Pradesh. Situated at the most peaceful location of the whole valley this Monastery is about 9 Km away form the main National Highway NH-3 for Manali.

IMG_4872.jpg

So for today’s post I decide why not to visit this place once again and explore this divine Paradise and share the whole experience with you guys...

IMG_5147.JPG

So here we begin.. It was around 11AM in the morning when I started my journey form Patlikuhal (A samll town nearby..) and reached Pangan at around 11:30AM. The road was quite narrower as form other roads which were constructed at this place, But through out my whole ride I didn’t even met a single vehicle running on the road, maybe that would be the reason for not considering a double lane road for this place. I noticed that a lot of peoples and monks were walking by the road rather than travelling by the vehicles.

IMG_4728.jpg

This was the first place which could be seen by the side of parking. It was a rain shelter kind of construction which was used as a normal sitting point.

IMG_4730.jpg

The whole view of the Monastery could be seen form this place. This was blowing at a great speed at this place because this was the place which was at the top of the Monastery.

IMG_4729.jpg

It was not just the whole view of the Monastery that could be seen but the view of the whole valley was seen visible form this place. To be honest guys each and every single place of this monastery feels like a paradise to me.

IMG_4734.jpg

Here we started our journey for today.. The first building of this Monastery was A Tibetan School where the Monks were taught according to their Curriculum.

IMG_4733.jpg

By the front side of the School there was Shop too.. which was containing everyday essential items, Snacks and much more...

IMG_4738.jpg

Other buildings of the Monastery was residential houses for Monks and Nuns where they use to live. All these houses which were constructed at this Monastery were of Ladakhi Style.

IMG_4742.jpg

A feeling came onto my mind that when I visited this place I felt like that I have came to an another world which just had everything different form the locality’s. Everything just felt like so positive and heavenly.

IMG_4744.jpg

After wondering for a while on the alleys of this Monastery I came to this Holy Place which was the worshiping area of the Monastery. This place was constructed by the side of monastery which was separating it form the residential area.

IMG_4747.jpg
At the top of this monument, A Statue of Gautama Buddha was situated, So went there and worshiped. This place had a lot of positive vibe which could easily provide peacefulness of Body, Mind and Soul.

IMG_4748.jpg

IMG_4753.jpg

By the side of this place there were a lot of Tibetan flags of different colours which were for the peacefulness of this place.

IMG_4926.jpg

All these flags were of different colours. Denoting the Five different principals of Buddhism.

IMG_4927.jpg
The blue colour in Buddhist Flag was for Love kindness and Peace.
The yellow colour in Buddhist Flag was for avoiding extremes and Emptiness.
The red colour in Buddhist Flag was for Achievement, Wisdom, Fortune and Dignity.

IMG_4938.jpg
The white colour in Buddhist Flag was for Liberation, Dharma.
The green colour in Buddhist Flag was for Karma,Harmony.

IMG_4757.jpg

IMG_4760.jpg

A lot of different types of flowers were also planted on the surrounding which was making this place look more heavenly as it is.

IMG_4761.jpg
A lot of flower pots were placed according to the space which was constructed for the flowers.

IMG_4762.jpg

Different varieties of Marigold flowers were planted in the flower pot, all these flowers were of different different colours.

IMG_4767.jpg
Other varieties of flowers were also planted by the side of this place, which were adding a unique charm of ambience to this place.

IMG_4769.jpg

IMG_4808.jpg
After visiting this spot of Monastery I was so close to my destination which was the main Nyingmapa Buddhist Monastery of Pangan. Form this place the monastery was seen right form of it.

IMG_4809.jpg
Fewer residential stays were also constructed closer to the monastery as one could be seen in the picture above.

IMG_4814.jpg
The main entrance of the monastery looked something like this. It was a vast empty space for relaxing and meditating.

IMG_4828.jpg
The view as seen form this place was just so pleasant to eyes. The whole Left Bank of Kullu Valley was seen-visible form this place.

IMG_4810.jpg

The architecture of this monastery was of Tibetan style as the design of the window, the design on the walls, the design of the curtains.. they were all different.

IMG_4831.jpg

So without any hurry I visited inside the Monastery. This was my first visit inside the Monastery as the entry inside this monastery was closed due to Covid Restrictions, at the time when I visited this Monastery.

IMG_4834.jpg

When I first entered into the Monastery the whole environment inside this heavenly place was so divine. A huge Statue of Buddha was places at the centre. It was so peaceful and Heavenly guys, I could nearly sit here for and hour of two just to meditation it this calm and peaceful environment.

IMG_4836.jpg

The front wall of this monastery was all covered up by the Buddhist Gods and Lamas.

I tried to capture all the photographs of Heavenly Statues possible.

The Nun who was inside the Monastery was so polite and Humble, She also treated me with this token of snacks as Parshad.

IMG_4864.jpg
These utensils were cleaned by the Nun and were kept for drying.

While I was passing by I notices few of the Tibetan Thangka which could be rarely seen now a days these were few of the Buddhist Treasure which were forgotten now a days. I was just so blessed to see these Thangka form my eyes.

Here are few of the Photographs of Tibetian Thangka.
