Hello Everyone,

As you guys might have seen the part 1 of my recent expedition to Mahili Theel. In which I have shared my journey till the first basecamp Galoon of Shangchar village.

IMG_5288.jpg

We had a little breakfast at Galoon and started our journey again. From Galoon till Mahili Theel which was our main destination the overall parts of the expedition which were left till Mahili theel were three.

IMG_5282.jpg
The first part of the Expedition is form Shangchar to Galoon.
The second part is form Galoon to Kala Patthar.
The third part of the Expedition if form Kala Patthar to the Last woods.
The fourth Part will be form Last woods to Mahili Theel.

So without any further ado we started our hike again. At Galoon we were above at about 8000 feet altitude form the sea level. Our last stair of this expedition was till Kala Patthar.

The reason why this place was called Kala patthar is that, In local language Patthar means Rock and this Kala Black Rock was the last biggest rock of the top of this mountain and form this place The last woods were also starting and after the last woods forest the no vegetation zone starts above the tree line. The kala patthar is so huge that a little portion of the huge trees are over it! As seen in the picture at the top

The natural vegetation after Galoon was kinda different form the place before Galoon. These plants were seen almost every where by the side of the trek Do let me know guys is anyone is familiar with them, In the comments section.

Encounter this heavenly Natural Spring water during out expedition, Springs like this are not just the token of gift from Nature to us but it is a gift for the whole flora and fauna of this Palisade.

IMG_5290.jpg

As we were covering up the distance of the Trek the beauty of this place was just increasing at every single step. Just imagine guys just you and the ones whom you want to be here with!.

IMG_5293.jpg

It was not just the flora and the fauna but the heavenly aerial view of the whole Kullu Valley.

IMG_5296.jpg

The Heavenly peaks of Good and the Evil were also seen visible form this place. The peaks of Dharamsura and Papsura were referred as the Peaks of Good and Evil. As the locals says that these two twin peaks signify the true balance of works of good and Bad, Positive and Negative, Ying and Yang so on...

IMG_5299.jpg
At the few certain areas of the pathway, The whole Pathway was kinda missing like it was but because of less hustle and bustle in this trek we had to do some sort of guess work for staying in the same path.

IMG_5300.jpg
The wind which was blowing at this place was kinda cold but had an essence of July summers in it!

This unusual type of grass was growing all over the place. I have never seen any such variety of flora in my life. It was really so unusual guys.

The elevation in the trek was also increasing as we were covering up the distance

As we were told by the locals that after this elevation we will reach at our destination after a little bit of more hike of 30-40 mintes.

The steepness at this place was really at a lot guys. It was really difficult to cover up this distance without hiking sticks and other accessories.

As seen in this picture guys. Baragarh Peak was also seen visible form this place. Baragarh was once the headquarter of the king of Kullu Valley, and a huge fort was built at this place for having a good Control over the whole valley. Still todays date fewer leftovers of the fort are still there at this place. Even after hundreds of years ago!
