Julley Everyone,

A fresh New morning out here today in the Himalayas started the day journey filled with adventure and countless number of memories that we made all the way as we were driving beyond the places unknown towards this beautiful place called Zanskar Valley, the corners of Himalayas, all the way towards the cold himalayan desert and it was somewhere the land in between. I have visited the place in the past, but whenever I visit the place, it’s never an old moment, but everything feels so fresh and so refreshing and it was the moment somewhere in between, and I decided why not to share these moments that I went on in the summers with you guys through this post, so that you guys could also experience such beautiful moments from the Himalayas.

Just look at the moment, my friends, everything just felt like it is in a dream, but truly it was a place. It was a moment and it was a dream come true as we had somewhere near about 9:30 AM when we were driving straight from a place called Tandi in Lahul Spiti. Drove somewhere near about three hours straight on the Leh, Manali Highway, and now it was somewhere the land between the beautiful valleys of Zanskar.

Had no words to say about the place as everything looked so dreamy and so fantastic and altogether. It was like we were driving to the sky and beyond. We could clearly see that when we were going higher and higher in the mountains, driving through high altitude mountain passes. It felt like that we reached at a certain point where it felt like we were at the top of these mountains, and literally we could see the endless blue sky with the white clouds.

Didn’t even care about, didn’t even bother to just think that how, and where we were headed to, but all over it was about enjoying the whole journey rather than wasting a particular destination, and so was driving like a free bird flying in this beautiful, magical Wonderland and the thing that fascinated me, it was that how well the roads were built and how well the weather was. I was so lucky enough that I got this beautiful chance to visit the place in the summer season to be noted my friends. These are the photograph. These are the adventure and expedition that I went here in the summertime somewhere in mid July, and now after the month of October, and now I would say that December time the place would have been covered under a thick sheet of snow that would last for near about more than half the time of the year.

It even felt like that as you were driving by, we were getting at higher altitude place aa every single turn every single corner in the mountain. It was bringing a whole lot of different landscape that we saw right in front of her eyes and literally my friends. It was literally a whole new world. I was so I was just wondering around how the ancient wonders would have visited the place in the ancient Time with no facilities that how the people usually visited at such an high altitude place in the mountains and that too now it was just so grateful and lucky moment enough that we could climb these mountains driving by reaching this end, less high altitude, modern peaks in the Himalayas, and in the ancient times it would have been taken generations and generations of the ancient wonders to explore these places.. and few of them, they even settled along their way through which they form the villages, and it was what you have the isolated region in the Himalayas.

Here is a quick screenshot that I took when I opened the elevation in my mobile phones compass app in iPhone just in order to see the altitude and currently we were at an altitude of more than 4800 m above the sea level and still going on…

It had been near about more than six hours since we started a journey out and we were still going on the atmosphere felt a bit thin, so was the higher pressure lower was the temperature. It was the summer time, but still I feel that the temperature it was near about 5°C, even in the peak summertime and I was so much to just even think about that how the place would be in the winter season, when everything will get covered under a thick sheet of snow and the snow ranging more than 10 to 15 feet that would last fun about more than 7 to 8 months throughout the year, and it was only the time throughout the year when this place is as dry as it seems like.

Even the mountains, they fresh like that all of them they were burnt not burnt because of the high temperature, but because of the cold climatic condition that throughout the year, the place has no vegetation at all and everything that you see so icy and even the mountains due to the high attitude place, the place was above the non-tropical zone above the tree line where it is really very hard for any sort of vegetation to grow and all that we could see was just the dry grass, which even was burnt from the cold.

Reached somewhere at this place that felt quite wide enough where we could stop and enjoy the view as the view was all around that we could just wonder for a while, but truly, especially this was a corner where we could see the perfect view of the land and the sky merging up all together, and it was it felt like a high altitude mountain pass somewhere in between the Zaankar Range, and I got to know that this place it was called the Baralacha La Pass.

IMG_7157.jpeg
Later that day, we got to know about this mountain pass that we visited the place and I’m gonna even share the journey about this mountain, but moreover, now we were headed to somewhere towards near about 50 km away from this mountain. As firstly, we drove all the way towards this mountain, and now we were headed back to a place from where we could enter the beautiful Zanskar Valley.

IMG_7158.jpeg
As previously mentioned my friends just like a free bird, we were just exploring these beautiful places driving by no matter where the roads will take us to just wondering around, no matter where we were headed to all that we had was the enthusiasm of exploring these beautiful locations and capturing the moments and enjoying the nature to its fullest and that’s what really kept us going all the way neither decided that where we were north, the road would take us to, and that’s what I would truly call the freedom of getting along with the nature.

Park the car by the side of the road and kept these beautiful moments, relaxed here for a while somewhere near about an hour or so decided to walk around as I was so fascinated to just wonder around. Visit closer to the mountains and even submit them, but I decided as getting closer to the mountains. It felt like that the mountains were getting more and more far away from us. That’s what the magic of such places is that we can’t take any sort of reference about the places as there is no vegetation or trees that we could just spot about so that we could get closer and get some idea about getting closer to a place, but it felt like that more and more far away the mountain was going from us.

So that was how the moment kind of look, my friends, do let me know my friends, the photographs of the part of my adventure like the most in the comment section, and I would love to hear it from you. I have kept all of these photograph using my Apple iPhone 12 and edited them using iPhone photo editor. I have also captured and tried to capture as many shots as possible so that you guys could also experience the hidden moments from the Himalayas.
