It indeed is quite beautiful. It is a pity, that - as far as I know - a huge part of the wall(s) is basically just rubbish and only the parts where tourists come, are held intact. But I guess it is understandable, regarding the fact by how long the building(s) is(/are). In a world oriented towards maximum profit, who would want to keep something intact that has little value neither monetarily nor to a big amount of people, anyway?
