La Casa Gelato - Vancouver's Iconic Ice Cream Shop
Serving the Vancouver area for over 34 years, La Casa is a staple of the city as well near the top of the list of must stop places.
We had a visitor in from out of town, so last night we did an evening ice cream run to the legendary spot!
La Casa was awarded by the "Guinness Book Of World Records" as having the most on-site flavours on the planet. It all started in 1982 carrying 20 flavours, it grew and grew to what now is a whopping 238 flavours!!
The entire store is a site to see. The walls are filled with local art work and colours that pop out as any ice cream shop should..
At the front till there are a variety of ice cream snacks & bars setting the tone for the salivating goodness that follows. La Casa staff always greet you with a smile, the business has wonderful customer service.
The following photo is my favourite mural in the whole store. It is a great little sketch from the perspective of East Vancouver - where the shop is located.
This is around 10pm at night. You will always find people visiting at any time of day..
My daughter seems to always want Bubble Gum or cotton candy. The blue scoop is Bubble Gum. For me, I always get a mix of either Ferrero Rocher, Creme Brule or Nutela. On this night, I decided to try White Chocolate Macadamia with no regrets!
When visiting La Casa Gelato, don't forget to snap some photos in front of the Instagram famous wall with the logos!
Who doesn't LOVE ice cream?
If you are in Vancouver, this place is definitely worth a visit!
OMG ... That place is heaven on earth! It think it would be a nightmare for me to make a choice witch flavor I want!

That's the problem for everybody! The staff is really good though and offer tiny spoon samples to help you make the choice!
