it's hard for larger touristy cities to maintain their charm in the same way as those that are smaller and little more off the beaten path
So very true! But if that wasn't the case, how would we appreciate the charm of smaller towns? Everything in moderation works beautifully, and every place is as individual as every human on this planet.
