yesterday we unfortunately already left Ko Tao and took the ferry from Ko Tao to Ko Phangan.
By cab we went from our location "Montalay Bay Resort" in the east of the island of Ko Tao in the direction of the pier. We already have our tickets for the ferry on our cell phone so we could use the ferry without any problems.
A stopover on Ko Phangan and ferry change was necessary to get then directly to Surat Thani.
The ferry to Surat Thani was then a somewhat larger where trucks and cars were also allowed to travel. The journey was accordingly somewhat longer.
gestern sind wir leider schon von Ko Tao aufgebrochen und sind dann mit der Fähre von Ko Tao nach Ko Phangan gefahren.
Mit dem Taxi ging es von unserer Location "Montalay Bay Resort" im Osten der Insel Ko Tao in Richtung Pier. Unsere Tickets für die Fähre haben wir bereits auf dem Handy sodass wir ohne Probleme die Fähre nutzen konnten.
Einen Zwischenstop auf Ko Phangan und Fährenwechsel ware nötig um dann direkt weiter nach Surat Thani zu kommen.
Die Fähre nach Surat Thani war dann eine etwas größere wo auch LKWs und Autos mitfahren durften. Die Reise war dementsprechend etwas länger.
At the pier in Surat Thani we could then claim our own bus for us - a bus for 18 people was more or less reserved for us and we could thus drive quite relaxed to Surat Thani Town where we could then take our next van trip towards Kkao Sok.
Am Pier in Surat Thani konnten wir dann einen eigenen Bus für uns beanspruchen - ein Bus für 18 Leute Platz war quasi für uns reserviert und wir konnten somit ganz entspannt bis nach Surat Thani Town fahren wo wir dann unseren nächsten Van-Trip Richtung Kkao Sok nehmen konnten.
We were probably a total of 8-9 hours on the road from Ko Tao to Khao Sok Cabana. On the way, we also had a small crash with a scooter driver who drove in the opposite direction - our van driver had to swerve and touched another van driver on the side mirror. Nothing happened, but still took another hour until the accident was resolved.
Wir waren wohl insgesamt 8-9 Stunden unterwegs von Ko Tao nach Khao Sok Cabana. Unterwegs hatten wir auch einen kleinen Crash mit einem Rollerfaher der in die entgegen gesetzte Richtung gefahren ist - unser Van-Fahrer musste demnach ausweichen und touchierte einen anderen Van-Fahrer am Seitenspiegel. Nichts passiert, aber halt dennoch eine weitere Stunden gedauert bis der Unfall geklärt war.
Arrived at the Khao Sok Cabana Resort it was already dark and we could unfortunately see no more monkeys and animals on this day. Therefore, we went out after check-in, ate something and drank in a bar next door one or two beers.
The next morning we woke up to beautiful sunshine and could continue our trip to Khao Sok "Smiley Floating Houses"
Im Khao Sok Cabana Resort angekommen war es bereits dunkel und wir konnten an diesem Tag leider keine Affen und Tiere mehr sehen. Demnach sind wir nach dem Check-In etwas raus gegangen, etwas gegessen und in einer Bar nebenan noch das ein oder andere Bier getrunken.
Am nächsten morgen sind wir dann durch wunderschöne Sonnenstrahlen aufgewacht und konnten unseren Trip nach Khao Sok "Smiley Floating Houses" fortsetzen.
