Buena comunidad Hive, hoy les traigo un paseo por la Colonia Tovar, es una ciudad venezolana, capital del Municipio Tovar, en el Estado Aragua. Fue fundada el 8 de abril de 1843 por un grupo de inmigrantes alemanes.

Good Hive community, today I bring you a tour of Colonia Tovar, is a Venezuelan city, capital of the Tovar Municipality, in Aragua State. It was founded on April 8, 1843 by a group of German immigrants.
Visitando la Iglesia de San Martin de Tours.
En este recorrido he querido comenzar por mostrarle la iglesia San Martin de Tours donde reposa la imagen que le da su nombre traída desde Endingen Kaiserstuhl por los Colonos, después de remodelaciones, en 1918 juan Paul Dobbert construye una nueva torre del campanario. En el 1953 Juan Breidernbach construye la torre octogonal de madera en 1957 se construye la segunda nave según Aretz. Su apariencia actual se logró en 1983 cuando fue declarada Monumento Histórico Nacional de Venezuela
Visiting the Church of St. Martin of Tours.
In this tour I wanted to start by showing you the San Martin de Tours church where the image that gives it its name was brought from Endingen Kaiserstuhl by the settlers, after remodeling, in 1918 Juan Paul Dobbert built a new bell tower. In 1953 John Breidernbach built the octagonal wooden tower and in 1957 the second nave was built according to Aretz. Its present appearance was achieved in 1983 when it was declared a National Historic Monument of Venezuela.
¿Conocías al Arco Endingen?
Hemos llegado al Arco Endingen, allí en la imagen mi pequeña hija Lakhsmi. Nos impresiona la belleza de la arquitectura Colonial Alemana, un paisaje, hermoso con un clima muy fresco. El arco Endingen encuadra la entrada a la ciudad mostrando sus tradicionales relojes que son parte de su cultura.

We have arrived at the Endingen Arch, there in the picture my little daughter Lakhsmi. We are impressed by the beauty of the German Colonial architecture, a beautiful landscape with a very cool climate. The Endingen Arch frames the entrance to the city showing its traditional clocks that are part of its culture.

La diversidad cultural alemana se encuentra reflejada en su artesanía, allí cada elemento cuenta un poco de su idiosincrasia, entre tanta variedad y a un un módico costos puedes llevar estas muestras culturales a casa o regalar a un ser querido.

The German cultural diversity is reflected in its handicrafts, where each element tells a little of its idiosyncrasy, among so much variety and at a low cost you can take these cultural samples home or give a gift to a loved one.
