Hello everyone!
Archcathedral Basilica of St. Saint James the Apostle is one of the largest churches in Poland, in terms of height (approximately 110 meters) it is in second place. Its size stands out from other buildings in the city. During one of my walks around the city, I decided to see it from the inside.

Bazylika Archikatedralna pw. św. Jakuba Apostoła to jeden z większych kościołów w Polsce, pod względem wysokości (ok 110 metrów) jest na drugim miejscu. Wielkością wyróżnia się na tle pozostałych zabudowań w mieście. Podczas jednego ze spacerów po mieście postanowiłem obejrzeć go od środka.
The main entrance to the church is open, so I could easily enter and admire the interior.
Główne wejście do kościoła jest otwarte, więc bez przeszkód mogłem wejść i podziwiać wnętrze.
Main nave. Due to the large space inside, I used a wide-angle lens to capture as much as possible in the frame.
Nawa główna. Ze względu na dużą przestrzeń w środku skorzystałem z obiektywu szerokokątnego aby objąć w kadrze jak najwięcej.

As you can see in the photo on the right, I wasn't the only one who decided to take a few shots.
Jak można zauważyć na zdjęciu z prawej strony, nie tylko ja postanowiłem zrobić kilka ujęć.

Presbytery. Above the altar there is a late Gothic crucifix made in the 15th/16th century.
Prezbiterium. Nad ołtarzem znajduje się późnogotycki krucyfiks wykonany w XV/XVI w.
There are various chapels on the sides of the church. I photographed some of them.
Po bokach kościoła znajdują się różne kaplice. Kilka z nich sfotografowałem.
Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament. There is a valuable altar here - a triptych from Ciećmierz from the end of the 14th century.
Kaplica Najświętszego Sakramentu. Znajduje się tutaj cenny ołtarz - tryptyk z Ciećmierza z końca XIV w.
Chapel of the Home Army. In the center of the chapel is the Pieta. This sculpture comes from the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries.
Kaplica Armii Krajowej. W centrum kaplicy znajduje się Pieta. Rzeźba ta pochodzi z przełomu XV i XVI w.
Baptismal Chapel with an altar made in the 16th century.
Kaplica Chrzcielna z ołtarzem wykonanym w XVI wieku.
Academic Chapel. Four paintings depict the Fathers of the Church: Saint. Jerome, Saint Gregory, Saint Augustine and Saint Ambrose.
Kaplica Akademicka. Cztery obrazy przedstawiają Ojców Kościoła: św. Hieronima, św. Grzegorza, św. Augustyna i św. Ambrożego.
The organ is new, made especially for this church and donated in 2008.
Organy są nowe, zostały wykonane specjalnie dla tego kościoła i przekazane w 2008 roku.
There are several historic epitaphs from Western Pomerania on the walls. Above you can see the epitaph and panoply of Captain Teofil Michaelis.
Na ścianach znajduje się kilka zabytkowych epitafiów pochodzących z Pomorza Zachodniego. Powyżej widać epitafium i panoplium kapitana Teofila Michaelisa.
I'll want to come back here in the future with a different lens to take photos that show more detail.
W przyszłości będę chciał tutaj powrócić z innym obiektywem, aby wykonać zdjęcia prezentujące więcej szczegółów.

The interior side of the Archcathedral Basilica of St. Saint James is just something else! Never seen such impressive pipe organs before!
Personally, I pay less attention to organs in churches, so I don't know how to compare these to others I've seen.
However, from Wikipedia:
The organ has 66 voices and consists of 4,743 pipes (with a height of 11 millimeters to 10 m), including 183 Spanish trumpet resonators.
The entire 10 m high instrument weighs 36 tons.
They play one of the major roles in each church as some date for many centuries are unique in the world :)
