Views from the Venetian Walls of Bergamo

in Worldmappin10 months ago
Hello everyone!

This is another post from Bergamo from my first day in Italy. This time I invite you to walk along the walls protecting the southern part of Città Alta and to see the city of Bergamo from them.

Witam wszystkich!

The walls visible in the photos were built by the Venetian Republic in the 16th century.

The walk can be done in two ways. We can walk by the wall and admire the views or between the trees to protect ourselves from the sun.

Italians love football, so as you can see, any free space is good to create a playing field :)

Włosi kochają piłkę nożną, więc jak można zobaczyć, każde wolne miejsce jest dobre do stworzenia boiska do grania :)

Above, a wider panorama with a view of the lower town. However, in the photos below, telephoto shots.

Powyżej szersza panorama z widokiem na dolne miasto. Natomiast na poniższych zdjęciach ujęcia tele.

Going to the end of the visible avenue, we will reach the Railway Station

Idąc do końca widoczną aleją dojdziemy do Dworca kolejowego.

Above the roofs of buildings rises the tower of the Basilica of Sant'Alessandro in Colonna.

Ponad dachami budynków wyrasta wieża Bazyliki Sant'Alessandro in Colonna.

This is the last part of a long walk around this city. In the following days, my friends and I set out to explore more cities in northern Italy, and the day before returning home, we took one more walk around Bergamo. More on that in future posts ;)

Thanks for your visit and any likes and comments.
