Today, I am going to share our trip to Balamban a couple of months ago. Since Balamban is near my hometown, I usually come here to practice driving and as well go to beautiful spots. I already shared some of my trips to Balamban and now let me share with you our relaxing trip to West 35.
West 35 Eco Mountain Resort is situated in Gaas, Balamban Cebu which is 1 hour away from Cebu City and it is accessible via private and public transport. This place has overlooking views of the Balamban mountains and the seaside where Tsuneshie is located. This is also famous for its various outdoor activities and breathtaking view of its villas.
My sister, brother-in-law, and I had a quick visit to this place. It was my birthday so they decided to treat me to a trip to West 35. This was actually our 2nd time here since before this trip I accompanied my friend Lanie here when she visited my hometown. Some of the pictures below are compilations of the two trips that I had before.
WELCOME TO WEST 35
When you arrived at the place you will see these beautiful pine trees on the side of the road. I always love seeing these kinds of plants because they look like Christmas trees which remind me of the happiest season of the year. After several walks, you will see the restaurant on top of the hill. My sister took a picture of me here.

Before going up, my sister and I were a bit tired so we stopped here and took some photos.
FOOD KIOSK PARK
Aside from the beautiful view, this place serves sumptuous Filipino food that is situated in a picturesque spot.
VIEWING DECK
While you are waiting for the food to be served here, you can tour at their viewing deck where you will see a 360-degree view of the whole place.
Most people nowadays love plants so if you are one of them, you will definitely enjoy it here. They have several flowering and non-flowering plants which are planted around the place.
Don't forget to read the rules or the do's and dont's when you come here.
KID'S PLAYGROUND
From there, we found out that they have this playground that's perfect for a family that has kids. I wish we were able to bring my niece here so she can enjoy this playground too.
HANGING BRIDGE
They also have this little hanging bridge here. Only 1 person at a time is allowed to pass to avoid accidents.
VILLAS
If you are planning to extend your stay at this relaxing place, you can book their villas. It is so refreshing to be surrounded with nature. What a perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing getaway with your family and friends!
