In this post, I would like to share with you guys Cham island, a famous island that is recognized by UNESCO as a biosphere reserve of the world. Coming to Cham island, you will experience interesting activities such as fishing with fishermen, camping on the coast, scuba diving to see corals, enjoying fresh seafood... Let's explore the fascinating features of the undeniable guide of the beautiful island in my post today.
Where is Cu Lao Cham? What is the weather like?
The island cluster of Cham island is located in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province, central Vietnam. The island has an area of about 15km2 with 1 main island and 8 small islands surrounded by Lao, Long, Mo, Kho Me, Kho Con, La, Tai, Ong. If you have the opportunity to travel in Hoi An, after visiting the beautiful ancient town of Hoi An, go to this cluster of islands to enjoy the peaceful, unspoiled beauty of nature.
Located about 15km from Cua Dai beach, there are two ways to travel to visit this place. You can take a tour organized by travel agencies or you can choose between two means of transportation to Cham island: speedboats or wooden boats.
I have a few friends who are locals here. They suggested that I should visit from March to August because at this time the weather is warm and sunny, the sea is calm and extremely suitable for exploring the beauty of nature. In other months, the sea is rough and the waves are big. Boats often cannot go to sea to get to the island, at this time the island is isolated. In my point of view, the best time to come to Cham island is in the morning to have more time to have fun and visit here. To make the trip to Cham island meaningful, you should choose the right time to visit and enjoy a lot of festivals in this place.
How much is the ticket price?
If you want to experience it yourself, you can buy a ticket and go to the island by wooden boat or canoe. The time to leave from the pier is usually at 7:30 am, and in the afternoon it is 13:00 at Cham island pier. It should be noted that wooden ships are mainly used for transporting goods, with a long travel time, so it will not be suitable for those who suffer from seasickness. That is why the ticket price for the wooden train is quite cheap, only about 50.000vnd per person. I was suggested to go there by canoe, the ticket price is about 200,000 VND/person. Canoeing is suitable for those who like the feeling of strong surf, the travel time is only about 20 minutes.

What's so beautiful about Cham island? If you like to explore unspoiled nature with green mountains and forests, long white sandy beaches, clear water and rich flora and fauna, this isle of Cham is known as the "Pearl of Quang Nam". suitable place for you to visit.
Eo Gio Cham Island.
If you are someone who likes to catch the sunrise or watch the sunset, this is a destination that is hard to miss. Cham island is surrounded by blue mountains, an immense sea and an endless sky. Looking from the waist (the road behind the island), standing on a cliff hundreds of meters high, you will feel how vast and beautiful the East Vietnam Sea is. This place is like a wall, protecting fishermen from the sea.
Ancestral Temple of swiftlet craft
Bird's nest fishing is a quite famous profession on the island, the quality of oats here is always appreciated, ranked among the top in the country. In order to pray for the development of the swiftlet industry as well as the peace of the people on the island, the ancestral temple was born. The temple is located on a sand mound next to Cay Cua slot, in Bai Huong village. On 10/3 according to the lunar calendar, the sacrifice ceremony to the ancestors of bird's nest exploitation is solemnly held at the temple, praying for the development of the swiftlet industry. You can visit this place on this occasion to better understand the unique beliefs of the people here.
Blue beaches and yellow sand
Coming to Cham island, you must visit beautiful beaches such as Ong beach, Huong Beach, Xep Beach, Chong Beach, etc. Come here, you will be able to see the long stretches of fine white sand, clear blue sea, and straight rows of coconuts. This is the ideal place for visitors to discover the life of fishermen and enjoy fresh seafood.
Explore the primeval forest
After playing with the waves, you can explore the primeval forests here. When following the trails to climb the mountainside, you will be immersed in a green space, enjoying the beauty of forest orchids.
Spend a holiday on this beautiful island with lots of interesting experiences. Cham Island is still in the process of improvement and development, so when you come here, bring back lots of memories with family and friends.

Thích quá em ơi, chị cũng muốn đi lại Cù lao Chàm. Đợt c đi 1 ngày với tour guide mà k có tham quan nhiều như em. Mà đợt năm 2012 đó c ko rõ là có đc ở lại qua đêm hay không
Ở lại qua đêm cũng được á chị, giờ ngoài đó có nhiều homestay cũng dẹp lắm luôn😚
