Some hike up Mt Fuji, but I think it's best viewed from the base/afar, hehe. When I was in Japan, we were invited by a friend living in Yamanashi and we camped at Lake Tanuki, one of the lakes nearby. View was spectacular. You can try it sometime and visit the different lakes around Mt. Fuji :)

ohhh thankss, I’ve read about lake tanuki recently too. Looks lovely but I think I prefer glamping 😆. Might look into somewhere near there 🏔️
