Hail to the Hive!

In this episode we continue from Hawkebury Junction , where the Coventry Canal connects with the Oxford Canal, and make our way to Braunston for a rendezvous with a friend, George, and some freshly brewed coffee. Along the way we must negotiate canal locks, which we are getting used to again and also a tunnel. It's a stretch of canal we have done before which proves useful when finding overnight mooring spots as it can be quite shallow by the canal bank along a lot of places on the Oxford which makes mooring impossible. Luckily we had a spot we knew about that we found by accident on a previous run through here back in April.

It is nice watching your boating. Boating seems to be a fun way of traveling (except for the mooring problem). I can't wait for part three. Greetings from the Philippines!

mooring is usually pretty easy in most places. Narrowboats are a very relaxed way to travel. Sort of the complete opposite of traveling on a Ceres bus in the Philippines haha

You just made my day (^_^) with that Ceres bus thingy. I too do not want to travel on buses, especially those that are lacking in space.

ceres drivers are absolutely insane haha like going on a roller coaster ride!

Hahaha! I thought their drivers are the best (never had the chance to ride any of their buses).

I was in Cebu for 7 years. The Ceres drivers all think they are driving formula 1 cars not buses haha

I think not just the Ceres drivers, buses travelling along the EDSA highway also think they are driving F1 cars.

very cool and pleasurable! my fave moments in this video is Camille opening the gates and smiling, and you guiding the boat (speed-up frames).
