Who would have thought that in such a cold place lies a hidden hot sulfur spring that has a magical healing that can help heal ailments brought about by the chilly weather?

Greetings to all fellow travelers and adventurers here on hive, most especially here @worldmappin. Here I am again to share another adventure to our very own province of Benguet. But this time it's all about a healing nature.

Among all the places I’ve been to here in the Philippines, I’m always in awe of the greatness of God’s creation, just like this Magical and Amazing Sulfur Spring.
This is the place we always love to visit during the cold season, the Badekbek Sulfur Spring located in Daklan, Bokod, Benguet. It’s found not too far down from Mt. Pulag and is locally known as the Badekbek Sulfur Spring.

Me and my family(in-laws) often came here because it helps prevent us from catching coughs and colds in rainy and cold season. Many people also say that it’s good for various ailments such as gout, colds, flu, and even muscle and vein pains. It’s like a natural therapy!

Whenever we visit, we soak our feet in the boiling sulfur for about 1 to 3 hours, depending on how we feel. It’s especially beneficial for the elderly, stroke patients, diabetics, and those with gout. After soaking for a few hours, we can really feel the relief and our bodies feel lighter and more relaxed.

This Sulfur Spring is boiling hot, so you should only soak near the sides to avoid burns. It also has a strong smell, but it’s worth it! The sulfur is also known to help heal wounds, so if you have any illnesses or wounds that are slow to heal, this place is highly recommended, we’ve proven how helpful it can be. You just have to endure the smell a bit.

The area around the spring is quite warm, which makes it perfect for us since our place is cold. We’re truly thankful to God for this gift of nature, which has been such a great blessing for us here. There are some visitors coming but limited since this is not yet fully discovered, and the smell is not quite entertaining. Maybe that's one reason why only local tourists or us, living nearby municipality was the one who kept coming back.

There are kiosk put up on the edge of the Sulfur Spring so that you can soak even if it is raining or not. The Sulfur Spring is wide so the whole family can soak at the same time. It is perfect to have a family talk and stories while our feet is soak on the Sulfur Spring.

There’s an entrance fee, but it’s not expensive, just minimal amount so anyone can afford even the kids can came and feel the magic healing of the Sulfur Spring. But they need a proper supervision because if we allow them to roam around they might accidentally feel on the hot sulfur spring. We usually come here once or twice a month, it depends on how we feel and the weather.

That's all about our magical and healing Badekbek Sulfur Spring here at Daklan, Bokod, Benguet. Thank you so much for reading and supporting my family travel blog. I really appreciate your time and support.
Please stay safe and more place to travel. Always remember to keep smiling!
Mabuhay!
