Exploring the New Highest Elevation of the Philippine Highway System! The Buguias - Tinoc Road in the Cordillera Region!

in Worldmappin23 days ago

Hello, fellow nature travelers and adventurers! How are you doing today. I hope we are all safe as we travel and explore the beauty of God's Creation.

Today, I’m taking you on an exciting and nerve wracking trip to the Highest Highway in the Philippines. This breathtaking road found at the boundary between Buguias, Benguet, and Tinoc, Ifugao. Known as the New Highest Elevation of the Philippine Highway System, this remarkable route is nestled in the heart of the Cordillera Region, surrounded by tall and endless mountain ranges and green tall pine trees.

We traveled along this road on our way to attend my cousin’s wedding at Tinoc, Ifugao. Instead of taking the shortcut and usual route, we decided to pass through this newly recognized highest highway because there was a landslide on that route. And It was absolutely worth it! The road here is fully developed and concrete, making the drive smoother and more comfortable. However, since it is located at a high altitude, the area is often covered with thick fog and cool mist. The air feels crisp and super cold, and sometimes you’ll even find yourself driving and playing with the clouds.

When the sun brightly shines, the view transforms into something magical. The entire landscape lights up with a green glow, revealing the breathtaking scenery below, rolling hills and layers of green mountains stretching as far as the eye can see. Everywhere you look, left or right, Infront or at the back, the nature surrounds you. The towering pine trees, dense forests, and the peaceful silence of the highlands makes you feel Magical. It’s a view that will make you pause, breathe deeply, and appreciate nature's beauty of the Philippines.

Because of its elevation or location, the weather here is always chilly, with light rain or mist drifting across the road. It’s the perfect place for a refreshing road trip, especially for those who love scenic drives and nature photography. But be sure your vehicle or motorcycle is in good condition before going, because the road can be steep and winding. Some sections are quite sharp and narrow, so extra caution is a must. Safety should always come first so that you can enjoy the view and also make sure to keep your eyes on the road.

Despite the challenges we encounter, the journey is truly unforgettable. Standing on this high point together with the clouds, gives you a sense of peace and pride, knowing that you’ve reached the highest highway in the country. It’s not just a road but a reminder of how beautiful and majestic our mountains are here in the Philippines.

So that’s a little glimpse of the highest highway in the Philippines. Thank you for joining me on this short road trip, your time and support mean a lot to me. Always remember to keep smiling and stay safe! See you on my next travel and adventure!

Mabuhay!

You're welcome!

This place looks so peaceful and refreshing..😍

That's right, but it was cold and most of the time foggy. Sometimes it was always drizzling with matching winds just like a typhoon. But still i was so happy to visit and pass though this place 😁. Thank you so much for stopping by my friend.
