Welcome to London
If you are coming to visit London the probability that this being the place where you "land" it is very high. Liverpool Street Station is one of the biggest commuting stops in London. With trains coming from all over the country, airports connections and also international trains, this is a very big and super busy station. Welcome to the Liverpool Street Station.
Beautiful inside and out
The station doesn't only look beautiful from the outside, although inside is now full of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets that are very useful for all the commuters it still kept the same vibes and look gorgeous in the interior. There are not a lot of modernization done in this station.
Some great details
If you are early for your train and have time to kill, you always can take it to appreciate the building and find some cool details. Because there are many things that really make this station beautiful.
There are also some bronze sculptures both outside and inside and you can take some time to read about them and know why they were built.
This are some photos of Kindertransport – The Arrival
A memorial piece that commemorates the 10,000 orphaned Jewish children who escaped Nazi persecution and arrived at the station during 1938–1939.
On the main entrance
If you go to the main road you can encounter another entrance for the station and the building and architecture doesn't disappoint either, it only gets better.
Just look how big and majestic the station is, I think with this image you can tell that it is a huge building. You can see the building on the left side it just keep going and all of that is part of the station.
Nice are to walk around
On top of this amazing building this area is very nice to visit and walk around. The mixture of all the different Era architecture, and the nice places to grab a bit or a drink. Also the fact that Shoreditch is at walking distance and that is for sure a must visit when in London. I would say to jump on the train and if you have the choice to get out in Liverpool Station, do it. I think you might enjoy the area very much.
