Let's get to the beach
I am almost sure that if you are visiting Folkestone, you might be here for a visit to the beach.
Let me tell you about the Zig Zag Path, you want to know about it if you come by train and want to look for the quickest way to get to the beach.
From the station to the Zig Zag Path it is a 10/15 minutes walk and as soon as you get there you are a couple of minutes away to arrive the beach.
Remember that this is the quickest way, and I can assure you, going down it is the easy part, you get to enjoy the beautiful views while you Zig Zag your way down.
There's even some places where you can have a sit to enjoy the view and remember those places, because if you decided to use the Zig Zag Path to do your way back up again, those sitting areas might be helpful.
I don't own a drone nor am I a drone photographer but I believe you might be able to get some cool images from the Zig Zag Path. Specially might be really interesting with all the people going up and down in the most busy Summer season.
In your way down you will also find some small caves and some small underpassages that were built into the cliff and that make the Path so much more interesting and beautiful.
I still want to find me some models and get some cool shoots in these.
I always like to peak in this window and look at the sea. When I see this, I also know that I am close to get to the end of the Zig Zag path.
And just like that we got to the beach. I told you it was a quick but worth it stop. Now remember that coming down was way easier then going up. In case you are considering going up, know that you will need some endurance.
The other choice is a long walk along the beach, a walk to the pier and from there coming through the town.
That would be easier but probably take 3 or 4 times longer.
Not just the beach down here. Along the beach and in the bottom of the Cliff you have great gardens along the way.
That is another beautiful reason to get down here.
Now that you know about the Zig Zag Path, I hope you know how to get to the beach in Folkestone and make the best of your day.
