Hello dear friends,

I think unfortunately this will be the last post of the week, simply because tomorrow I'll be super busy at work, but I really wanted to share with you the photos I took in another beautiful village here in Tuscany.

I'm not sure if I've already talked about this place, for me it's not the first time I've passed through here, I'm talking about the village of Buonconvento, which is also in the province of Siena, a village practically nestled in the Sienese clay hills, surely one of the most famous attractions in Tuscany and in the province of Siena.

I've always made it a point to wander through the cobblestone alleys of this beautiful village, an experience that's always important to me because, from my point of view, you can see the intimacy of this village, the daily life that goes on every day, and I've taken several photos there, which I'm very happy to share with you here.

Buonconvento is surrounded by medieval walls built around 1350, and this alone creates a truly suggestive atmosphere for those who walk through these small streets. This beautiful place is only 30 km from Siena and is part of the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy, a recognition that I consider very important, as it shows how fascinating this place is and, above all, it seeks to preserve its beauty.

So, if you happen to find yourself near Siena, you absolutely can't miss a visit to this beautiful place in Tuscany.

I must say that it's immediately noticeable that it's a much more touristy place compared to the ones I've visited in the past, there are already more people wandering the streets, but I think there are also many residents living here.

Here it seems that they have a population of about 3000 inhabitants, but I've also seen many hotels, including family-run hotels, from the most romantic to the most luxurious ones. However, in this way, you can still have a wonderful experience staying in this village and appreciating the quiet life here.

Certainly, what I've noticed is that there are many interesting historic buildings to visit, but unfortunately, my haste got the better of me, and so I couldn't linger in these places. However, I recommend not missing the Pretorio Palace where the residence of the Podesta Del Giudice was, and the municipal museums of sacred art that I had visited in the past, which preserve important works of sacred art but also testimonies of the peasant life of these areas, certainly a way to understand the traditions of these places. Hopefully, later on, I'll be able to come back here and visit one of the other places that I missed to complete the full visit of this village.

As usual, I thank you for taking the time to read this post. I hope you enjoyed my photos and that they have encouraged you to visit this place as soon as possible. See you in the next post. Bye for now, everyone.

I saw these kind of alleys in the movies. There are historical backgrounds as well. Good to know that history too.
