RE: Krushevo - a place that selfishly preserves ancient times

in Worldmappin11 months ago

It's fascinating to learn about the historical development of the town and its changing population over the centuries. The influx of Vlachs, Albanians, and Macedonians during the 18th century must have contributed to its growth and diversity. However, it's quite intriguing that the number of inhabitants has decreased significantly over time due to emigration. How has this town managed to preserve its unique character despite the population decline?

Hello @silviared945 and thank you for your comment. 🙂
The Balkans is a place that people leave, it is tormented by wars, low standards and bad politics. As for this place, it has a very strong historical value for Macedonians and is increasingly attractive for tourists. But that is not enough for young people.
